CBS canceled “Rhoda” early in its 5th season, without airing the last four episodes. In 2000, a revival was attempted with the pilot “Mary and Rhoda”, but everybody hated it.

I discovered Alice Cooper when he guest-appeared on "The Muppet Show".

you know she did first appear in the comics but it was the later weird comics. so probably is a reference to the band/singer rather than other way around
