Did I ever mention the time I went to see the Zeros at the Brighton Bar in 2013? Except it turned out not to be the Zeros of “Beat Your Heart Out” fame. Some guy called Sammy Serious applied the same name to his own band, also situated in L.A.! The Brighton’s manager didn’t realize his error until after the show! I saw the REAL Zeros at Crossroads last year and amused Javier Escovedo with that misadventure.
