We are getting a weather khichdi here in Maryland. Snow has changed to sleet, will change to freezing rain

At Princeton its been snowing since 6AM -- I saw huge blobs of snow falling

It started snowing here around/after midnight. I don't know when the sleet started, maybe around sunrise?

@Aneek, it's probably too late for snowblowers (which we don't have anyway) because sleet has been falling into the snow, compacting it. Shoveling is the way

Just woken up, I'm planning on shoveling at around 11 or 12 so there's a buffer between the concrete and sleet. Can't have too much snow down though or it'll be impossible if we get even a brief period of freezing rain

Flashbacks to 2013 when I waited too late and had to contend with dislodging boulders from around my mom's car
