step 2: rinse 1/2 cup rice and 1/2 moong dal in a pot. soak until onions and tomatoes are chopped.

there's a lot of khichdi in this world and not enough time to eat all of it. that is one of the tragedies of being a man -- our biological clocks cut us far too short of becoming khichdi realized. let this not be a sad moment! listen along and eat as much khichdi as you can...
