| Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan & Salamat Ali Khan Mori Ali-Gorakh Kalyan The Ali Brothers - Ustad Nazakat Ali and Ustad Salamat Ali Saregama India Ltd 2005 Singing in the Sham Chaurasia gharana, Nazakat Ali Khan (1928-1984) and Salamat Ali Khan (1934-2001) had their debut performance on All India Radio, Delhi in 1942, when Salamat was only 8. Their father is vocalist Vilayat Ali Khan. They were from Hoshiarpur, Punjab, and migrated to Lahore after the partition of India.

He leant from Shankarrao Vyas, Narayan Moreshwar Khare, Omkarnath Thakur and Balkrishnaboa Kapileshwari of the Kirana gharana. He passed away in 1964 at age 47 before cutting a gramophone disc. The recordings on this record were made by his admirers during his performances.

| Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna Thillana Moment! Records 1995 Dr. M Balamuralikrishna (1930 – 2016) was born in Mangalampalli, Andhra Pradesh. He was a Carnatic vocalist, musician, multi-instrumentalist, playback singer, composer, and character actor. He leant from Parupalli Ramakrishnayya Pantulu, who gave him the prefix "Bala" (lit. child) to the young Balamuralikrishna. Prior to this, his name was Muralikrishna.

| Allauddin Khan Raag Paraj Basant Baba in Moods SCI 1996 Allauddin Khan, was born circa 1862 (some speculate 1882) in what is now Bangladesh, and died on 6 September 1972. He was an Indian sarod player and multi-instrumentalist, composer and one of the most notable music teachers of the 20th century in Indian classical music. He became court musician for the Maharaja of Maihar, where he founded the Maihar gharana. His famous legacy: son Ali Akbar Khan, daughter Annapurna Devi, students Ravi Shankar, Nikhil Banerjee, Vasant Rai, Sharan Rani, Pannalal Ghosh, and many others. ![]() Originally broadcast on All India Radio on 6 March 1959. |

| Arati Ankalikar Bhairavi Thumri A Prodigy In Indian Classical Music, Vol. 2 Universal Music India Pvt Ltd. 1986 Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar was born in 1963 in Bijapur, Karnataka. She was trained in the Agra, Gwalior and Jaipur-Atrauli gharana styles of Hindustani music. She also does playback singing for Marathi, Konkani and Hindi films. Teachers included Vasantrao Kulkarni, Kishori Amonkar, and Dinkar Kaikini.
