Mike condolences. I am so lucky to have had a somewhat similar situation with parents born in the 20s and 30s and both living long lives ( one of them still at it ). Still sad when they leave at any age but so many great memories.

Ambrose - I heard some Tina's music playing lately, at an auto shop and thought it was someone that loves her music, then few hours ago on another radio station, they announced some singer passing by the name of T, but tuned to wprb, before I can hear the name

It was a similar summer like this when the wdas radio station played non stop songs of Aretha Franklin, and figured she passed, which shocked me too in 2018

I keep forgetting that Aretha is gone :(

@DSM, on one May 15 in the 1980s, the local new wave/whatever station (WHFS) played 3 Brian Eno songs in a row. I was getting really upset and sad because I thought Eno had died. Then the dj came on and said it was Eno's birthday, so he was playing songs to celebrate it.

I cried when I heard about Chadwick Bozeman and it was on my birthday month August

From what I remember from many books, articles etc... the very beginning of "In The Evening" spooky modal Jimmy Page intro was related to the music he composed for LR. And some other parts that he often inserted into the Led Zep live performances.

And those bits and pieces are not a far cry from what Bobby B here ended up with on the final product coincidentally.
