Leimer is an electronic musician based in Seattle, Washington (and more recently Hawaii). Active since the 1970s, Leimer primarily self-released his music for several years on his own Palace of Lights label. After 1983 he ceased producing music for ~18 years, concentrating on his graphic arts career, returning in 2002 to reissue old work and release new material. |

| David Parsons Sarangi Saron Ngaio Gamelan Celestial Harmonies 1999 David Parsons is a New Zealand new age/ambient composer who began composing music in the 1960s. In 1989, Parsons began recording an extensive series of indigenous music sound documents in Egypt, Cambodia, Armenia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Himalayas and other locales. (Although trained in sitar, he doesn't use it much on his recordings.)The sampled sarangi was played by Nazim Ali Khan. |

They were active from 1970 to 1983. During their career, they recorded three albums. The group performed music for avant-garde theatre and dance. In 1976, the musical collective was commissioned by the Royal Danish ballet to create the music for the representation of Cleopatra. This new single is from that period. |

He developed an interest in jazz at an early age and clandestinely listened to it during his education at a Qur'anic school. He is now based in Europe, usually Paris or Vienna. He calls the radio "the most important school" for him. "Malak" is his first real release as a leader. |

| Pierre Moerlen's Gong Second Wind Full Circle (Live 1988) Musea 1988 After the departure of founder Daevid Allen the group Gong went through a rapid series of personnel changes with drummer/percussionist Pierre Moerlen becoming the de facto leader. The music evolved away from the psychedelic sound of the Allen-led era into jazz/rock fusion. The group name was changed to Pierre Moerlen's Gong to differentiate it from the other Gong offshoots and the original band.
