At Graceland, there are different buildings to showcase specific Elvis items. One just for his jumpsuits. One for his cars. Just to name a couple. I’m not really a big fan of Elvis or anything. But I am interested in side quests and spectacle. Went with my lady at the time who knew even less about Elvis than i did. Had so much fun 😹 🤷‍♀️

yes the lit up part was already part of image of the Prince shoe “wall” (still need to construct the Room haha.)

it would be cool if it was done low budget, like shoes just stapled to the wall in a small random room that lossibly has tinge of mold smell. For some reason my mind also goes there. Maybe i’ve done too many random side quests in strange towns

(On the topic of your John Flansburgh bit) As a rabid teen music fan pre-internet, I cold called John Croslin from the Reivers & he answered. He was very polite & spoke with me for at least 15min, entertaining my questions. I loved the Reivers & had to know more.

i’m gonna unglue from chat now but i’ll leave with another museum recommendation: if you find yourself in a place called Bishopville South Carolina, by all means, run don’t walk to the Button King Museum. Cheers folks
