I kinda wanna see it punted as high as George can kick it, but I also am curious to cook it. I read it just has to be white throughout. If any part turned another color inside, it's not safe to cook? I am a little nervous about that though because I have a sensitive stomach!

I work on French Canadian documents at work, so I figured I should try it out. It’s kind of cool when it matches up with Italian and German.

My school-teacher mom arranged many summer roadtrips when I was growing up to places like the Mark Twain House, The House of the Seven Gables, Louisa May Alcott's house, etc. My kid thinks it would be very cool to work at the Emily Dickinson House as a tourguide if she ends up going to college in Western Mass. A lot of student guides work there. She loves history and lit history!

@Randy Marthins - Harley is such a pretty cemetery, I drive past it going from my mom's house back to Philly all the time. I grew up going to a Catholic church in Camden where they had Whitman readings, (it was an unusual church!)

@Randy Marthins - Oh crazy! I have heard of this "Reacher". Don't know if it's my kind of tv show, all I know is that he is a very tall big man named Jack who..reaches?? But cool that they incorporated the Magic Gardens! I almost got married there but we decided against because I had a lot of old relatives at my wedding and the mosaic crazy spiral stairs at the gardens are NOT easy to navigate for anyone shaky on their feet!

@Rofflelectic - A couple friends who book music series, Dustin at Bowerbird and Steven at Fire Museum, booked shows at Magic Art Gardens in the past, in one of which I played keyboards (it was a celebration of the spring equinox and there were several improvising duos. My keyboard was crammed into one of those deep mosaic pits with me balancing on stairs to play it! But it was a very fun show to play. We even had interpretive dancers!

@TAndy - Oh nice! Yeah they're always great live! Most recent time I saw them was last spring outside on the Ben Franklin Parkway in a pocket park. Loved seeing Arkestra members Dave & Tara's little daughter playing at that show. What a cool family to grow up in!

I saw the Arkestra play "Nuclear War" with Yo La Tengo at The Trocadero in Philly about 25 years ago. They did a fun little dance!

Saw them at Awbury Arboretum in Germantown a few years ago with lots of audience props for participation and Marshall and crew danced their way through the crowd!

The outfits are just way too good, get me every time. Dancers moving amongst the crowd and clearing energies rn!

The show in Philly along the Ben Franklin Parkway last spring, actually it was September of last year!, it was organized by Arto Lindsay from DNA and the whole thing was called "Chaos and Kisses". My husband and I were part of the procession. Went from LOVE Park down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to Maja Park (little pocket park close to the new Calder Museum!)

Had a Brazilian drumline, Dance Circus Theatre dancers running in and out and forming human sculptures, pHONK!, Pig Iron and the whole thing culminated with the Arkestra!

I'm glad when the Halloween crap starts showing up in the stores, it means that fall is just around the corner.
