Deer Park is a town on Long Island

probably lots of other places too

funny, I was just looking them up, and I think they are from London. There is an actual deer park in Japan, I know...near Kyoto, perhaps.

it's kinda funny to think of traveling great distance to pet random animals

I don't really understand the animal cafes. Seems very mean. Deer park sounded way more like an episode of the Simpsons to me. Deer biting people etc.

I would love to pet a lynx but they are so bad-azz and can see through the BS

I would love to SEE a lynx, but all cats I'm pretty sure want to bite my face off.

When I was in Brazil my girlfriend tried to pet the monkeys at the big Jesus Statue (Cristo Redentor) and was surprised when it bit her.

They run free in northern MN. But they lurk and stay out of the fray.

We have turkeys running freely all over Mpls/St. Paul. I don't mean the ICE agents- real live flocks of turkeys. They are so adapted they often use crosswalks to cross the road. I kid you not!

I wonder if this is same Sally that Al Green sings about in "Ride, Sally Ride"

There are deer in the wooded stream park near me that not only look both ways several times before they cross the two-lane road, they won't cross if I wait for them to; I have to drive past them before they will cross

@marcus you and I are on the same wavelength today...I was trying to see if this song is a cover. Don't think it is, but maybe a reference? Of course, I was thinking about Rye Coalition, not Al Green. ;)
