@dan, reading the synopsis of that movie it reminds me of a b-movie called 'the day time ended,' jim davis and dorothy malone in a time portal sort of thing just like oak street. there are few new ideas, but better technology to bring it to us.

that's okay, I believed Forest Gump got hit by a bus at the end until I was an adult. My cousin would always put it on and then stop the VCR right before the end because he "didn't want me to see Gump get hit"

@Krista, the ride up to Frenchtown is great. The nice thing about the towpath is that it's flat -- so even though it's a ways to Frenchtown, you can pedal easy...
