Back way before I was born, my parents had a cat named Mookie who aggressively hated anyone else. But she went on morning jogs with my dad 😄

I had a cat that went out at night, if I took a walk he was with me. He owned the neighborhood as far as I could tell.

i LOVE!! seeing people w a cat walking w/ them - theres a man in my neighborhood that walks his dog on a leash + the cat follows them freely behind .. sits every so often then catches up. incredible.

ralph is fiv+ so any of the cats going out is dangerous to him. it's also dangerous to birds and small animals. ralph is very determined to get out at times and it is heartwarming to see him but i can't let him out. if he got a cold from another cat he could die.

i do wish he'd walk on a leash but he won't do it

he just seemed way too tame to live outside. he was happy to come in. it actually took some years for him to try to get outside at all

the last straw was someone posting on a neighborhood fb group that they saw an orange cat hit by a car at my intersection and i thought it was him, but it wasn't
