Finished my deep dive into Here Comes The Brides. Stellar work by BUSKIRK fave Joan Blondell. 2,Emmy noms in both seasons.

The lead brother was much better than the 2 younger who went on to bigger fave. Nice job by character actor Henry Beckmann who elevated the stereotypical Irish drunkard role.

Great guest appearances by Bob Cummings,Bruce Lee,Cicely Tyson,Jane Wyatt,Billy Mummy and a mysterious never heard of James Davidson.

Rarely saw Brides. Dan's too young, fortunately. I too adore Joan Blondell.

I had older sisters who were 16 Magazine fans, definitely saw it.
