Good morning Mike Lupica. Funny story but just yesterday a ran across a story about ESPN's Mike Lupica a name I'd forgotten for many years. Cord cutting will do that! and yes I did Google "Mike Lupica" on the small chance you were one and the same. But I don't think you're 74 years young.

To further cloud the mystery, I'm just going to start saying that I am his father.

My gal had a similar experience w Robin Williams. She waited at the stage door after seeing a Broadway show he was in. Very kind with all the fans there. Lined them up so they could all get pics w him. She's a psychologist. Also very empathic. She saw the same thing in his eyes.

He really got to me (in a very important way) when I was young. As has been widely noted, all the wrong people keep dying.

Mornin' DJ Mike & pit crew! I used to organize a fundraising event in SF called the TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss to raise funds for an after-school program. Robin Williams was by the far the biggest celeb who got tossed in the pool. Before he went in he did hilarious stand up for 10 minutes. He "worked blue," which was interesting because there were quite a few kids there

My last gal was older than me and died last July 17 w body dementia. (As I understand what Robin was dying of.) The brain is still there as the body fades away. I can understand controlling your own passing like that. I wish he had written the world a letter.... Great speech you chose....
