Hello Hello! It's a beautiful day in Princeton, NJ!
Number 6 5:00:49 PM
Greetings!
Lizbot (host) 5:00:59 PM
Hi Number 6!
Number 6 5:03:24 PM
Yesterday at the Barge I had to sneeze a lot and Mike had to sneeze during his show, I hope that there isn't something in the air in the studio.
Number 6 5:03:59 PM
I thought that I was coming down with a sickness.
Bike R 5:04:33 PM
Oh shit! Lizbot is on!
Bud Burroughs 5:04:40 PM
Hello Lizbot, I love Alasdair Roberts!
Lizbot (host) 5:05:04 PM
Hi Bike R! I am indeed!
Lizbot (host) 5:05:37 PM
HI Bud Burroughs! SameI I love his voice and the clarity of his music!
Lizbot (host) 5:05:42 PM
@Number 6 - Uh oh! Only in studio...in such a way that you felt allergic to something in studio?...or have been sneezing since?
Bike R 5:06:32 PM
@Lizbot always the best! Just got surprised today by the FM signal
Lizbot (host) 5:08:30 PM
@Bike R - Nice! I love when that happens!
Bike R 5:08:45 PM
@Number 6 and @Mike Lupica re sneezing. Another reason the Barge needs replacing?
Number 6 5:10:06 PM
@Lizbot- I seem to be okay now, just in the studio.
Number 6 5:10:34 PM
Maybe needs to be fumigated?
Number 6 5:11:24 PM
I'm normally not allergic to much.
Lizbot (host) 5:11:35 PM
@Bike R /@Number 6 - The Barge is perhaps haunted by a Dust Ghost?
Number 6 5:12:11 PM
Probably, maybe a pirate dust ghost!
Bike R 5:12:15 PM
Love the idea of a Dust Ghost!
Lizbot (host) 5:12:28 PM
@Number 6 - I have been okay thus far. I am not allergic to much either, except certain perfumes in cleaning sprays and perfumes, but I don't smell anything like that here
Lizbot (host) 5:13:40 PM
@Bike R - My special guest on the next DevilPlusGhoul with Killbot - The Dust Ghost. Its mortal enemy is the mop and cleaning wipes in the supply closet where Killbot spends 99% of the year
Bike R 5:14:07 PM
@lizbot just 3 hours to go ;)
Lizbot (host) 5:14:45 PM
@Bike R - I will fend it off with mop until I invite it on guest mic!
Bike R 5:15:04 PM
@lizbot I'm going to hold you to that Killbot show
Lizbot (host) 5:15:40 PM
@Bike R - Killbot shall return!
Roffleaphonic 5:15:51 PM
Rosie the Killbot? Programing is a superpower. :)
Roffleaphonic 5:16:08 PM
Hello
Bike R 5:16:10 PM
Laughing. I'm not sure mop can really defend
Lizbot (host) 5:16:30 PM
Hi Roffleaphonic!
Lizbot (host) 5:17:22 PM
@Roffleaphonic - Oh wow, Rosie the Robot joined the dark side! It was only matter of time. She could only stand wearing that ruffled apron for so long!
Bike R 5:17:25 PM
@Lizbot also, props to you, no other DJ on wprb commands the waves and the Chat as you do!
Lizbot (host) 5:17:45 PM
@Bike R - Mop defeats Dust!
Lizbot (host) 5:17:57 PM
@Bike R - Why thank you!
Bike R 5:18:28 PM
No mean feat
Roffleaphonic 5:19:27 PM
Killbot with a Roomba attachment is something I could use.
Bike R 5:20:08 PM
@Roffle Killbot!
Lizbot (host) 5:20:59 PM
@Bike R - Har! And if the mop doesn't cut it, I'll kick it with my mean feet
Bike R 5:21:51 PM
See? Who else makes puns like that!?
Lizbot (host) 5:21:55 PM
@Roffleaphonic - oooh, I also need that for getting a drink when I'm sleepy. Okay, I will need to look into introducing Killbot to Roombas!
Lizbot (host) 5:22:23 PM
@Bike R - Guilty when Barged (sorry)
Roffleaphonic 5:22:55 PM
Lysol spray, a paper towel and a sneaker are my weapons of choice.
Lizbot (host) 5:24:25 PM
@Roffleaphonic - Lysol is no joke! Just seeing that word evokes the smell! My mom used to use it, and the super at my old building in my 20s. It is a bit of a headache in a can, fumes-wise, but it works.

George Korein 5:27:58 PM
Hi Addie!
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 5:28:47 PM
I am busily frying onions to the dulcet sounds of WPRB
Bike R 5:29:32 PM
Haha, @addie. I should be making coleslaw!
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 5:30:22 PM
Making pierogis and (vegetarian) kielbasa!!
Lizbot (host) 5:30:22 PM
@addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - The thought of the smell of frying onions made me drool just now
Number 6 5:30:33 PM
@Lizbot- There's another Killbot next to the one that's already there.
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 5:30:38 PM
What’s the coleslaw for, Bike?
Lizbot (host) 5:31:06 PM
@Roffleaphonic - Beat that ghost into submission with one shoe, or two for double strength!
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 5:31:12 PM
Lizbot, the ACTUAL smell is making my stomach rumble
Lizbot (host) 5:31:48 PM
@Bike R - Coleslaw for general picnic foods on this excellent picnic weather day?
Lizbot (host) 5:32:35 PM
@addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - Vegetarian kielbasa sounds good! I had a really good vegetarian meatloaf recently from a place called Blue Warbler
Bike R 5:33:54 PM
Yikes, how do you do it @Lizbot, I can't even answer a question about coleslaw!
Lizbot (host) 5:33:57 PM
@Number 6 - I SAW! I took a couple photos with myself & Killbot #2 today when I arrived in studio! I assume you are responsible for the procurement of this new killbot??
Lizbot (host) 5:34:06 PM
@Bike R- ha!
Number 6 5:34:14 PM
Killbot with a Roomba attachment could get rid of any dustbots.
Bike R 5:34:22 PM
Who is Killlbot?
Lizbot (host) 5:34:47 PM
@Number 6 - Time to build an army of Roombots.
Number 6 5:34:51 PM
I found that Killbot and several others at the thrift store.
Lizbot (host) 5:35:40 PM
@Bike R - Killbot takes over the airwaves every year during my annual Halloween show on WPRB. Do Not Taunt Killbot. I cannot be held responsible for her actions. She is an unpredictable entity.
Number 6 5:36:02 PM
Killbots are multiplying.
Lizbot (host) 5:36:08 PM
@Number 6 - Nice! I was very excited to find this new bot here today!
Bike R 5:36:47 PM
@Lizbot Oh, I got that! I was not taunting Killbot
Lizbot (host) 5:37:05 PM
@Number 6 - Speaking of bots, do you still record the show? I remember you mentioning you sometimes do and I sadly forgot to set up to record it today. If you have a recording running, would you mind WeTransferring it to me later?
Bike R 5:37:54 PM
Is that ok with Killbot?
Lizbot (host) 5:38:53 PM
@Bike R - I cannot speak for Killbot. Killbot leaves no comment. Killbot is unknowable.
Bike R 5:39:20 PM
I think I love Killbot.
Lizbot (host) 5:39:33 PM
@Number 6 - It's true! I for one welcome our robot overlords (well, in theory and in so much as it pertains to radio fun,)
Lizbot (host) 5:39:49 PM
@Bike R - Killbot knows not of this thing you call love
Bike R 5:40:34 PM
@Lizbot of course! Perfect!
Lizbot (host) 5:43:06 PM
@Bike R / @Number 6 - Did either of you see the campy 1986 horror movie "Chopping Mall"? The alternate title is "Killbots" and it's about killbot security guards who take over a suburban mall. Mary Wuorinov (from Warhol's Factory/Chelsea Girls) and Paul Bartel (Eating Raoul), are in it and it's great. MAJOR bonus: Good soundtrack and WPRB's own late DJ Doctor Cosmo worked on the movie!
Number 6 5:45:04 PM
@Lizbot- I had a program I had to close out on Audacity, but I just started recording your show if that will do.
Number 6 5:46:29 PM
I heard of that movie, but never saw it.
Lizbot (host) 5:47:05 PM
@Number 6 - Re: Recording - Okay, thanks! I appreciate that!
Lizbot (host) 5:47:37 PM
@Number 6 - Re: Chopping Mall - It's a fun one if you like goofy horror movies. It's very 80s camp
Bike R 5:48:14 PM
Movie sounds familiar!
Lizbot (host) 5:50:45 PM
@Bike R - It's sort of like a less scary, more silly version of George A. Romero's 1978 Dawn of the Dead, but with killbots instead of zombies!
Bike R 5:50:46 PM
Need more Nena!
Lizbot (host) 5:51:28 PM
@Bike R - Nena is great! Everyone in the U.S. mostly just heard her 99 Luftballons
Number 6 5:52:18 PM
I'll have to see that movie now!
Number 6 5:53:40 PM
The new Killbot can be wound up with a key that I don't have, BTW, maybe for the better.
Lizbot (host) 5:54:05 PM
@Number 6 - It's worthwhile! I love practical effects over CGI and the movie's killbots are clearly made of repurposed vacuum cleaners (speaking of Roomba joining forces with Killbot), but it works!
Number 6 5:54:39 PM
Ha!
Bike R 5:54:42 PM
@addie catching up. Coleslaw is for dinner.
Lizbot (host) 5:56:05 PM
@Bike R - How German/Dutch - A dinner of coleslaw. Coleslaw Vs. Sauerkraut!

Hi Mats Sabbath! Glad you are familiar with Giggle the Ozone! I think that band needs more recognition!
Dale Hazelton 6:09:03 PM
evening.
Lizbot (host) 6:09:47 PM
Hi Dale Hazelton!
Number 6 6:15:48 PM
Just like King Crimson, they have way more that 2 songs that commercial radio plays.
Lizbot (host) 6:16:20 PM
@Number 6 - Exactly!
Number 6 6:18:05 PM
At WPRB we play all of that "unknown" stuff.
Dale Hazelton 6:18:44 PM
i watched a hammer horror movie called night of the demon last halloween and heard 'it's in the trees, it's coming!' took me a while to figure out where i knew that from.
Rob from Maryland 🦀 6:20:13 PM
Bye everyone!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 6:20:56 PM
@Lizbot, get that Tufted Puffin shirt!!! And no good birds recently. Byee
Lizbot (host) 6:21:36 PM
@Dale Hazelton - Oh wow! I have read an interview with Kate Bush where she says she grew up on the Hammer horror films! There you go! Hounds of Love the song is one of my all-time favorites of hers
Lizbot (host) 6:22:05 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 - I will! I am pro-puffin!
Dale Hazelton 6:22:46 PM
the song hammer horror is on lionheart i think.
Lizbot (host) 6:23:03 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 - Saw a couple of hawks in the yard recently. Sadly haven't been able to spot many birds out there because of ongoing construction. I hope my lovable nuisance of a catbird is doing okay!
Lizbot (host) 6:24:13 PM
@Dale Hazelton - That "It's coming, It's in the trees" kicks of "The Hounds of Love" from the album of the same name
Lizbot (host) 6:25:17 PM
@Dale Hazelton - But yeah, she has that Hammer Horror song too on Lionheart. I should look into if she samples any other hammer horror movies. Waking the Witch has a lot of snippets and samples it seems
Bike R 6:26:43 PM
The wprb coleslaw challenge is on! And I’m failing ;)
George Korein 6:27:10 PM
I think the drumming on kamikaze is influenced by the d n b stuff of the late 90s
Lizbot (host) 6:27:46 PM
@Bike R - haha, try making the coleslaw WHILE DJing...Or don't, for the sake of our mixing board!
Bike R 6:29:38 PM
@lizbot no way!
Lizbot (host) 6:31:09 PM
@Bike R - Yahweh! For the love of Yahweh, don't slaw the board!
Lizbot (host) 6:31:33 PM
This song takes an epic synth voyage!
Dale Hazelton 6:34:00 PM
i see they are on progarchives...i'll read up on 'em.
Lizbot (host) 6:35:12 PM
@Dale Hazelton - They're a keyboardist and drummer from Moscow, both classically trained. They apparently like ELP and The Nice and I think that you can hear those influences here!
Dale Hazelton 6:35:23 PM
i missed the first shalash cut - do they do any vocals?
Lizbot (host) 6:35:50 PM
@Dale Hazelton - None that I recall!
Ossy 6:37:48 PM

Slawed the floor!
Lizbot (host) 6:43:12 PM
What's up, Ossy? Any good new Tara posts?
Lizbot (host) 6:44:21 PM
@Bike R - Better the floor than the board! Mixing bowl for the 'slaw, Mixing board for the music. Never the twain shall meet!
iConJohn 6:44:51 PM
Hi Lizbot, gotta tell you your 1st hour tonight is one I won't soon forget! Was driving to Avalon and had a sudden flat on a vey busy 55 just past Deplored around 4:50. Looked to be and hour wait for AAA to arrive and decided to check if we were in WPRB radio range. Yes! Let's chill to Lizbot in a car that rumbles every time a truck passes. Perfect reception.
Lizbot (host) 6:46:24 PM
Hi iConJohn!
iConJohn 6:46:58 PM
Had to cancel trip to Avalon, so more Lizbot back to Philly. Was totally stumped to the epic Genesis but very pleased to hear that kind of prog rock as late as Abacab release.
Lizbot (host) 6:47:16 PM
@iConJohn - Oh wow! I'm glad you're safe!
iConJohn 6:47:55 PM
Just past Depfod, signal loud and clear.
Lizbot (host) 6:48:37 PM
@iConJohn - Bummer about having to cancel Avalon visit! It's great weather today and all weekend. I have yet to make it down the shore this year! Really looking forward to going the first week of August to LBI.
Dale Hazelton 6:48:48 PM
i wonder if dave the obscure has his ears on for this set.
iConJohn 6:48:57 PM
Duh, Depford, auto correct is spazzing out.
Danosaur🦖 6:49:01 PM
Hey Lizbot and chatters!
Lizbot (host) 6:49:32 PM
@Dale Hazelton - DtO does sometimes turn up, as if summoned by some sort of prog bat signal, when I play very prog-filled show
Danosaur🦖 6:49:37 PM
We were just talking about Jean Luc Ponty last week and here he is with Frank Zappa
Lizbot (host) 6:49:38 PM
HI Danosaur🦖!
Lizbot (host) 6:50:08 PM
@Danosaur🦖 - Yes! I remember that chat!
Lizbot (host) 6:50:55 PM
@Danosaur🦖 - I was just listening to an episode of the podcast The History of Rock in 500 Songs all about Frank and Peaches In Regalia, but it includes tons of info on other recordings in that episode too. Deep dive
iConJohn 6:51:37 PM
@ Lizbot It's mom's 90th birthday today. I'll reschedule for next week. I think today is 15th anniversary of Amy Winhouse passing. Was passing through Mays Landing when that tragic news hit.
Lizbot (host) 6:51:57 PM
@iConJohn - I was gonna say! I was wondering if you had an intentional mispelling/nickname for Deptford, but I could tell what you meant! I grew up not far from The Deptford Mall!
TAndy 6:52:16 PM
What up Lizbot!!!
Lizbot (host) 6:52:22 PM
Hi TAndy!
Lizbot (host) 6:52:45 PM
@TAndy - Are you still nocturnal?

Lizbot (host) 6:54:27 PM
@iConJohn - Oh wow. I was in London in 2008 when she was still alive and I remember being shocked by how low the tabloids there went, going after her for every little thing. One headline on I guess a slow gossipy news day was just about her adopting a kitten, and calling her impulsive and distracted. Like, it's just her getting a cat, come on!
Lizbot (host) 6:54:49 PM

iConJohn 6:57:00 PM
Thanks Bike R. Ride to live, live to ride.
Lizbot (host) 6:57:19 PM
@iConJohn - Well Happy 90th to yr mom! She and my mom very nearly share a birthday! My mom's 84th was yesterday!
Ossy 6:57:36 PM
liz - and of course, she was a few chars in yugioh like mokuba kaiba!!
Lizbot (host) 6:57:54 PM
@iConJohn - Did AAA come within the time they projected? I have relied on them many times before!
Bike R 6:57:59 PM
@iconjohn that’s it!
Lizbot (host) 6:59:51 PM
@Ossy - Ah, She is a prolific voice-over artist! Funny, there are two Taras who are big in that world, because there's also Tara Strong from THe Powerpuff Girls!
TAndy 7:00:34 PM
Not this week! I'm in Guatemala enjoying the tropical non-summer heat :)
Lizbot (host) 7:01:12 PM
@TAndy - Oh right! Sounds so nice! How is it?! Did you encounter any tricky roads to traverse?
Bike R 7:01:15 PM
@Tandy streaming?
TAndy 7:01:47 PM
Listening to the Livestream, and almost every road here is tricky! I'm not driving though thank goodness
Alex from Media 7:02:01 PM
Hi Lizbot and chatroids!
Lizbot (host) 7:02:07 PM
@TAndy - At a few points in Costa Rica I was able to stream PRB, especially in the bigger towns in the Osa Peninsula, like Uvita. Not so much in Carate
Lizbot (host) 7:02:17 PM
Hi Alex from Media!
iConJohn 7:02:39 PM
AAA showed up within 40 minutes to an extremely busy highway. Got us going in 15 minutes. Big thumbs up and grateful for AAA and modern tech for being able to "ping" our location.
Lizbot (host) 7:03:09 PM
@TAndy - Yeah, the roads in Costa Rica were so tricky - veeery steep and unpaved inland - that I whimped out and used local taxis a lot!
Ossy 7:03:44 PM
liz - oh yes!! Tara Strong, forever a legend in so many areas, especially being Princess Melody from Little Mermaid 2: Return to The Sea
Lizbot (host) 7:04:20 PM
@iConJohn - Oh man, yeah, AAA has gotten me out of so many binds. I've had a membership for three decades now! Well worth it!
Ossy 7:04:26 PM
also for Tara Strong in Rugrats (Dil Pickles, Tommy's brother) and Timmy Turner(Fairly Oddparents)
Number 6 7:04:54 PM
A month or so ago I had a flat at the Barge and they were able to take out the nail and fix it right then n there. Didn't even remove the tire.
Lizbot (host) 7:05:12 PM
@Ossy - Ah, I knew I heard her voice elsewhere too. I used to babysit for some Rugrats-watching local kids!
Lizbot (host) 7:08:45 PM
@Number 6 - Phew! Getting a nail in my tire has happened to me more than once in Philly! Too much detritus in the street! One time I was driving to a show from North to West Philly, and I got a long piece of bent metal in my tire. I heard a small metallic sound, but the tire didn't deflate immediately, and I did not know the piece was in my tire, so I went to the show and came out after to a surprise flat!
𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡 7:08:56 PM
I also have had only great experiences with AAA
Lizbot (host) 7:09:29 PM
@𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡- Yeah, one of the only subscription services I can safely say is just worth every penny and then some
𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡 7:10:01 PM
Rapid response, competent and efficient
TAndy 7:10:08 PM
I tried using my AAA card for cheaper service on the PA turnpike and they didn't accept my number :')
𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡 7:10:25 PM
I got memberships for the whole family
TAndy 7:10:28 PM
I still keep it active anyway though, they always helped my mum when she had tire problems before!
Number 6 7:10:55 PM
I have roadside assistance through Travelers, cheap at twice the price.
Lizbot (host) 7:12:03 PM
@𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡 / @TAndy - AAA has saved George many times too, including recently when his car got flooded on Kelly Drive in those flash flood storms a couple weeks ago!
𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡 7:12:21 PM
AAA helped my son on the NJ Turnpike at night with a shredded tire
Lizbot (host) 7:12:21 PM
@TAndy - Yeah, they're very reasonably priced!
Lizbot (host) 7:14:04 PM
@TAndy - They didn't accept your number? My sister-in-law's dad, an Indian man from Central Jersey, always used to ask at every toll booth and store if they issued a discount for membership to the Indian Association of Central Jersey. He was shocked when one day an electronics store said Yes!
𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡 7:15:06 PM
Without AAA I would have been royally screwed. Can’t change a tire by myself anymore since the lug nuts are tightened with hydraulics. Can’t force them loose
Lizbot (host) 7:15:33 PM
@𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 𓀡 - My fan-belt popped off on an exit on the Blue Route near Bryn Mawr once and I had to pull over ON the exit ramp. I was only 17 and very nervous. AAA saved me then too!
Richard of Rocky Hill 7:16:17 PM
@Lizbot [host] If The Autumn Wind Is a Pirate, then blow on and may our sails be filled!
Lizbot (host) 7:18:19 PM
Hi Richard of Rocky Hill!
Ossy 7:18:42 PM
hi richard!
Lizbot (host) 7:19:16 PM
@Richard of Rocky Hill - Yes! "The Autumn Wind" is a 1974 poem written by Steve Sabol of NFL Films, famously narrated by legendary broadcaster John Facenda. That's where CA got the title from!
Roffleaphonic 7:19:25 PM
Robots with air gun power tools are plotting against us, they know our limitations and are biding their time, wearing us down. They have a plan....
Lizbot (host) 7:20:35 PM
@Roffleaphonic - Uh oh. Sounds FAR more advanced than those converted shop-vac robot clunkers in "Chopping Mall"!
Dale Hazelton 7:21:24 PM
love this girl/pysch.
Lizbot (host) 7:22:58 PM
@Dale Hazelton - They were still in high school when they recorded this album!! Sadly they only had one album. It's so good!
Danosaur🦖 7:23:16 PM
I like this song
Roffleaphonic 7:23:34 PM
Battlebots left an impression on me back in the day.
iConJohn 7:23:46 PM
@𓀠 ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ Yup, last time I had a flat, the crowbar was useless. Kind fellow driver had a powered up drill to help.
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:25:29 PM
Hey again, been eatin pierogi and making lavender wands and playing with snakes, all to this perfect soundtrack, Lizbot!
Roffleaphonic 7:27:18 PM
Pierogi sounds great. I just went out for some cheese for burgers and should have grabbed some of those.
Ossy 7:27:36 PM
yummi, pierogis with cheese
Dale Hazelton 7:27:43 PM
the music in the old nfl films is fantastic.
Roffleaphonic 7:28:33 PM
Grilled onions bring it home
Alex from Media 7:28:35 PM
Sam Spence composer. There are albums of it. It's glorious!
Lizbot (host) 7:29:07 PM
@Danosaur🦖 - The Feminine Complex's "Hide and Seek"? I love how is creepy and slinking while also having the psych sound of the time
Number 6 7:30:02 PM
@Lizbot- I hope that you play the station ID that your daughter does with the rats and cats.
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:30:18 PM
@Roffle the fried up onions in the pierogi were perfection
Lizbot (host) 7:30:48 PM
@Roffleaphonic - I only saw a little bit of Battlebots back then, but I suspect it had an outsized influence on many high schools starting competitive robotics teams like the one my younger brother-in-law was in
Alex from Media 7:31:53 PM
addie, what type of snakes?
Lizbot (host) 7:31:59 PM
@addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - Sounds heavenly! Lavender is one of my favorite scents! When I was in Spokane, I learned that it's known of lavender-adjacent (at least in appearance/color) lilacs!
Ossy 7:32:40 PM
strawberry, tangerine and minty for me
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:32:48 PM
My dad grows it, my mom harvests it, and I make the wands!
Lizbot (host) 7:33:41 PM
@Roffleaphonic / @addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - One of my best friends and one of my brother-in-laws live in Pittsburgh, pierogi capital of the country, and there is an excellent pierogi mascot who runs races there every year for annual Mascot Race and Mascot Skate!
Lizbot (host) 7:34:14 PM
@Ossy - okay, everyone is making me hungry!
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:34:54 PM
Lavender wand from today: https://flic.kr/p/2sqNhQZ
Lizbot (host) 7:35:07 PM
@Dale Hazelton - Yes! I really really don't like football, it just never held my interest, but when I stumbled upon NFL Films as a kid, I thought "Now this is interesting!"
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:35:17 PM
I must meet this Pierogi Mascot!
Lizbot (host) 7:35:35 PM
@Alex In Media - Sam Spence is NFL composer? I need to check out more of that music!

@alex I have 2 ball pythons, 2 Kenyan sand boas, and one Amazon tree boa.
Lizbot (host) 7:37:01 PM
@Number 6 - Ooh, I love that one! DOn't know if I'll get in another ID before the end of the show, but if I do, I'll play that one!
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:37:08 PM
The sand boas are recent rescues

Danosaur🦖 7:37:57 PM
@addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - Any feather boas?
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:38:35 PM
@danosaur alas, no! I fear the cats would have their way with any that darkened our doorstep
Lizbot (host) 7:38:53 PM
@Danosaur🦖- I played brand new girl group Spread Joy followed by 80s girl group Les Calamités
Danosaur🦖 7:39:50 PM
@Lizbot - well, that explains that distinct 80's sound
Ossy 7:40:04 PM
liz - totally minty too, especially in ice cream, to have minty smelly breath!!
Number 6 7:40:05 PM
@Lizbot- It reminds me of the film "Flatliners" with Kevin Bacon.
Alex from Media 7:40:15 PM
Had to look up the Kenyan sand boas. So pretty! Weird looking snout.
addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 7:40:56 PM
@alex look up the Arabian ones. They are quite silly looking.

Lizbot (host) 7:41:31 PM
@Alex from Media - Oh wow, I see Sam Spence spent a lot of his time working with bands in Germany. Didnt know he was an ex-pat. Interesting career trajectory!
Alex from Media 7:42:22 PM
Addie, hahaha of course! What else would a "sand" boa be doing?
TAndy 7:42:24 PM
Absolute jammer right here. So glad I found my earbuds just in time for this
Lizbot (host) 7:42:52 PM
@Ossy - I looove mint ice cream, but I wish it was more often made without chocolate chips, which are too hard in cold ice cream! It should just be "mint flavor", not "Mint Chip", dammit! Friendly's when I was a kid made mint sundae cups without choco chips and I loved them for it!
Lizbot (host) 7:43:16 PM
@TAndy - I am LOVING the new Parts & Labor album, it's all bangers!
TAndy 7:44:24 PM
I gotta add that to my wishlist ASAP
Alex from Media 7:44:38 PM
Lizbot, yeah very Germanic musical tendencies in the NFL films stuff. (truth be told I didnt know about him outside that till I looked him up for you.)
Lizbot (host) 7:45:23 PM
@Number 6 - I feel like I never saw Flatliners, and yet I have vague memories of it...Maybe if I started watching it I'd realize I saw it back then
Lizbot (host) 7:46:00 PM
@TAndy - Yes! So many good new album releases right now!
Danosaur🦖 7:46:07 PM

@addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - / @Alex - I had to look up what Arabian Sand boas look like - OMG, their eyes are cartoonish on the tops of their heads! Looks like how I would draw a snake as a little kid! Very cute sneks!

@addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - That's so cute! AAAACK! (Cathy comic style, but without the negative self-image!)
Lizbot (host) 7:54:51 PM
@addie “5 snakes” plum 🐍 - OMG, now I am picturing them roving around under the sand and popping up periodically like little land sharks!
