Mary Wuorinov (from Warhol's Factory/Chelsea Girls) and Paul Bartel (Eating Raoul), are in it and it's great. MAJOR bonus: Good soundtrack and WPRB's own late DJ Doctor Cosmo worked on the movie!

@Lizbot- I had a program I had to close out on Audacity, but I just started recording your show if that will do.

@Number 6 - It's worthwhile! I love practical effects over CGI and the movie's killbots are clearly made of repurposed vacuum cleaners (speaking of Roomba joining forces with Killbot), but it works!

AAA showed up within 40 minutes to an extremely busy highway. Got us going in 15 minutes. Big thumbs up and grateful for AAA and modern tech for being able to "ping" our location.

@TAndy - Yeah, the roads in Costa Rica were so tricky - veeery steep and unpaved inland - that I whimped out and used local taxis a lot!

A month or so ago I had a flat at the Barge and they were able to take out the nail and fix it right then n there. Didn't even remove the tire.

@Ossy - Ah, I knew I heard her voice elsewhere too. I used to babysit for some Rugrats-watching local kids!

@Number 6 - Phew! Getting a nail in my tire has happened to me more than once in Philly! Too much detritus in the street! One time I was driving to a show from North to West Philly, and I got a long piece of bent metal in my tire. I heard a small metallic sound, but the tire didn't deflate immediately, and I did not know the piece was in my tire, so I went to the show and came out after to a surprise flat!

I also have had only great experiences with AAA

I tried using my AAA card for cheaper service on the PA turnpike and they didn't accept my number :')

I got memberships for the whole family

I still keep it active anyway though, they always helped my mum when she had tire problems before!

I have roadside assistance through Travelers, cheap at twice the price.

@TAndy - They didn't accept your number? My sister-in-law's dad, an Indian man from Central Jersey, always used to ask at every toll booth and store if they issued a discount for membership to the Indian Association of Central Jersey. He was shocked when one day an electronics store said Yes!

Without AAA I would have been royally screwed. Can’t change a tire by myself anymore since the lug nuts are tightened with hydraulics. Can’t force them loose

@Ossy - I looove mint ice cream, but I wish it was more often made without chocolate chips, which are too hard in cold ice cream! It should just be "mint flavor", not "Mint Chip", dammit! Friendly's when I was a kid made mint sundae cups without choco chips and I loved them for it!
