Last time I was in Asbury Park, it was right after seeing DEVO! Went and rented a motel room with three friends near Holmdel’s PNC bank arena for DEVO/B-52s/Lene Lovich and then went to Asbury Park for lunch and records/thrift stores / boardwalk dog costume parade that we happened upon as luck would have it!

Also encountered a listner who stopped George because he was wearing a PRB shirt.

Besides the Cryptkeeper Five, Johnny Ott fronts a quintet with two saxophonists called the Night Shakes. I saw them November at Wild Air Beerworks.

David, you said cryptkeeper and saxophone so I kind of feel compelled to request Cortex's "Mayhem Troopers" for the sax show. If that's not too coffin-shaped-upright-bass horrorpunk, and so long as there's nothing too sordid about Freddie Wadling that I don't know
