Buddy's replacement in the Crickets, Sonny Curtis ("I Fought the Law", Mary Tyler Moore Show theme, etc), died last September.

my grandfather loved fly tying. he helped me tie one as a little girl. its pink <3

good morning! my dad has been slowly selling off their 3000-ish album collection. every day he lists one on ebay and then finds it online to listen to

we still have all of his fly tying materials, i want to learn how to do it but i need discipline

he listened to husker du and told me bob mould looks like an accountant. i told him i've been to see bob a bunch of times, and that he should listen to sugar's copper blue (which he did, apparently, at 6am blasting it as loud as possible)

My husband has been wanting me to get into fly tying for years as he thinks its a good fit for me when I get hyper-focused. It's in the back of my hrad but there's sooo many things in front.

I was a little boy crazy as a girl. i do in fact blame the Beach Boys and Happy Days

my grandfather used to work at Ramsey Outdoors in north jersey. After he died, we found letters between him and Tea Leoni about fly fishing. He had helped her out at Ramsey and they kept in touch

My husband & i have very different tastes in music (agree on rockabilly, bluegrass & most classic rock), but he will absolutely love everything about your fathers day show when I have him listen to the rebroadcast. Especially the fly tying.

I recall at the time the Some Girls cover wasn't due to using celebrity images but that they lifted the art wholesale from a current wig ad that appeared in all sorts of (mostly women's) magazines.
