Gopalakrishnan and T.N.Krishnan as part of the violin-trinity of Carnatic Music.

Teachers include his mother Sudhabai Mevundi, Arjunsa Nakod and Shripad Padegar. This composition "Sur Sukha Khani" is 'Natya Sangeet' from the Marathi stage play "Vidyaharan"

Flute Ramani, was an Indian Carnatic flautist.Ramani was born into a family of flautists. Ramani first learnt music from his grandfather, Sri Aazhiyur Narayanaswami Iyer. He later became a disciple of his maternal uncle and eminent flautist, T. R. Mahalingam.

She received vocal training from her mother Rajalakshmi Sethuraman, who was a student of the Alathur Brothers and Thanjavoor Sankara Iyer. Her father Shri Sethuraman was a music connoisseur who hosted musicians and dancers in the family home. At one of these gatherings, Aruna met Sangita Kalanidhi Smt. T. Brinda, who trained her in the style of Veena Dhanammal.

11:42 AM		N. Ravikiran Ninnu Jeppa Karanamemi - Mandari Patnam Subramania Iyer Young Masters Music Today 1992 Narasimhan Ravikiran was born on 12 February 1967 in Mysore. A child prodigy, he was able to identify about 325 ragas (melodic scales) and 175 talas (rhythmic cycles) of Carnatic music at the age of 2.

11:58 AM		Hemanta Mukherjee Purano Sei Diner Katha Rabindranath Tagore Rupantaree, Vol. 1 & 2 Saregama 1992 The melody for Rabindranath Tagore's "Purano shei diner kotha" ("Memories of the Good Old Days") was inspired to a large degree by the Scottish folk tune now associated with the Robert Burns poem "Auld Lang Syne". It is sung here by Hemanta Mukherjee.
