Yes, I have lived in or close to DC most of my life. I remember that snowstorm too. It was a few days before I was able to leave my neighborhood

We may have. It was quite a special place! George Gelestino, the owner, passed in 2002 :-( Mike Schulman of the band Black Tambourine and the label Slumberland Records worked there for a few year

Also, last ?August on a whim I bought everything Slumberland (re)released on CD in 2025. I can basically only play CDs in my car, and I still haven't gotten to all of the Slumberland ones what with all the other CDs I buy
