It's been on my radar for a while and I've heard some really cool parts from. I think the stories around it are extremely compelling.

I haven't done a deep dive but it's an interesting addition to the Sublime Frequencies catalog given their psuedo-ethnographic leanings

A couple months ago I heard a really good interview on a different station with the guy that recorded it and I've just been meaning to listen to the whole thing. I feel like I need a copy of it. But given its context I fear it'll get an annual play at best.

Haven't seen Frighteners, will check it. I would have to ask about the connection, but that was a big deal in Nebraska at the time.

frighteners is interesting, not great. It's Peter Jackson's first american film I think, but I didn't know who he was at the time. Michael J Fox was why I saw. I was a big Michael J Fox fan as a kid
