@rosasolis, my week has been pretty birdy, quite a few rare or uncommon birds have been around and I/we were lucky enough to catch up with a few of them. This morning a Common Gallinule https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Common_Gallinule/overview was found at the aquatic gardens in northeast DC and I got to see it.

The operatic scatting is new to me, so cool! :o

@rosasolis that track you played off of Pshychic was so good, I just had to hear more of them! But the book is from 2016, about how big data and algorithms were exacerbating inequality, actual mathematical destruction

the writing is very good and cyclical in a way, i took a break after vol 1 but its easy to get back in the rhythm of proust describing weird guys, his physical ailments, his neuroses, his emotional reaction to things...
