my best karaoke experience was my friend who was like "i don't sing" picking out age of aquarius and singing it together and blowing away a bunch of extremely drunk people

I just saw today - The Damned - 50 year, final tour - Oct. at Union Transfer. One of my favorite bands as a kid - saw them pretty recently at Brooklyn Bowl and then also at 9:30 in DC - and they were GREAT. just saying. ♥️

You won't see them for those prices anymore. lol

Roffle 0x7EA - I saw the Damned a bunch when I was a kid - I saw them in Dublin on Friday 13th, 1984. I was 18. When the toured here, they just played rock clubs, no frills. But over in Europe they played theatres and had like a whole set that looked like a graveyard! Smoke and lights and whatnot. It was super fun. I got tossed out during the encore for trying to stage dive, which I found out they were not really doing over there. ha!

Two bouncers grabbed me, kicked open the back door to the club, and literally launched me into the air, out the doors, onto the cobblestones.
