He was my first pet ever. So I am very glad I got to experience that with him cause he was a pure badass. Do you still have any pets?

None currently. But I once had 3 ragdoll cats and that was a handful in a good way.

On the way to the studio, minutes before i got there, i swore I saw a brand new bird today. I zoomed in on my phone and it was not. From a distance i swore it was orange and royal/navy blue...but then when zoomed in.. it was gray and orange because it was a robin! HA!

Robins are diabolical too it seems ;-) Hopefully you will see a brand new bird at some point this spring!

Blue Jays are truly diabolical. They do very convincing imitations of Red-shouldered Hawks. And here's to seeing pelicans this summer! And even to seeing Pelican (I don't know if they are touring)

I JUST saw a video of a Blue Jay mimicking a hawk to bully the other birds away from a feeder! That's why I said that HA!! I think I might be hearing that outside of my house because I hear the hawk a lot but I KNOW the blue jay hang my property.

Near my house I won't believe I am hearing a Red-shouldered Hawk until I actually see it. Blue Jays are so metal sometimes

I def have a hawk, though. it was in my backyard in February. I took pics . I have seen it on my neighbors tree multiple times so its there BUT i think the Blue Jay might make some of those sounds i hear often.

This morning my wife and I went to the town where a few Yellow-crowned Night-Herons nest every year. There are a handful of nests over the street and in tall trees in yards. We saw one heron standing next to a nest.
