Honestly, I haven't missed having a car. Though driving my dad's on the highway was nice today. If I didn't have to commute to Princeton I might not bother.

I lived in the UK for a year without a car and had no problem getting all over the city, country, and continent. And the UK doesn't even have the best public transit in Europe.
