Good morning and welcome to Classical Discoveries! Today is the first program of the annual March series "In Praise of Woman" which is totally devoted to women composers
Rob from Maryland 7:04:15 AM
Good morning Marvin. We are looking forward to this show and the whole series.
Richard Mitnick 7:05:00 AM
Good morning, Marvin, I have been clicked in. Happy to have you in my digiteria. I hope you have a great show. I am asking many hosts, have you ever had any direct connection to the university?
Richard Mitnick 7:06:08 AM
This music reminds me of the music of Keith Jarrett.
Richard Mitnick 7:08:21 AM
Hildegard of Bingen is reported to have been a rabid antisemite.
Marvin Rosen (host) 7:10:33 AM
Richard, I do not have any direct connection with the university however I was the buyer for the recorded music department at the PU Store back in the days when they had a wonderful recorded music department!!

Good morning all
Marvin Rosen (host) 7:36:54 AM
Great, Richard! Thanks for you comment!!
Richard Mitnick 7:37:37 AM
Marvin, thanks for your comment. You are airing wonderful music. I have supported women for many years, mostly in science. I am not specifically a feminist, rather I am selfish. I want their talent. The first woman I supported was astronomer Dr. Sara Seager at M.I.T.
Richard Mitnick 7:51:21 AM
Marvin, I am delighted that you are able to find the brief passages that convey your thesis.
Patrick White 8:37:20 AM
Greetings to Marvin and his listeners. A good morning to all as Classical Discoveries brightens up a dreary day
ears 9:40:18 AM
I a tiny about Hildegard, Richard. Interesting time in Western 'civilization'. Supercessionist theology is a new concept to me. I found your comment inflammatory, but I wouldn't have learned anything if you hadn't made it
