| Ajoy Chakraborty (Vocal) Raag Bhimplasi Hindustani vocalist Ajoy Chakraborty (born 1952) had early musical training from his father Ajit Chakraborty and later under teachers like Kanaidas Bairagi, Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh and Munawar Ali Khan. He became the youngest recipient of the Gold Medal from the Sangeet Research Academy where he currently teaches. He has a wide repertoire in various forms including Khayal, Thumri, Film/Non-Film and modern songs. He has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian honor. | ||

| Kaushiki Chakraborty & Rishith Desikan (Vocal) Raag Yaman Kaushiki Chakraborty (born 1980) is the daughter of the celebrated Hindustani vocalist Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. She sings Khayals, Dadras, Thumris etc. and is an exponent of the Patiala Gharana. She has formed an exclusive women's musical group called the "Sakhi" (meaning, friend) which is a forerunner in classical music in India to "celebrate womanhood" and as a dedication to the famous mythological and historical woman of India. She received the BBC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music in 2005 when she was just 25 years old. Rishith Desikan is the teenage son and disciple of Kaushiki Chakraborty. He has started to perform on stage with his mother recently. |
