This was a Carlos Santana project, but was released under the name "Devadip" (the "spiritual name" given to him by cult leader Sri Chinmoy). Soon, he would start bristling at Chinmoy's demands and restrictions, and ended his association with the cult by 1982.

This LP offers a mix of songs; there are some catchy rock songs, some fusion, and plenty of sappy spirituality.

The Shaolin Afronauts are an Adelaide-based instrumental afrobeat band that is styled after Fela Kuti's Africa 70 band and Sun Ra. Their music incorporates elements of avant-garde jazz, soul and traditional African and Cuban percussive rhythms.

The Greyboy Allstars came together in 1994, when the individual members were asked to perform at a record release party for the landmark acid jazz and club staple “Freestylin” by San Diego’s DJ Greyboy, who was famous for spinning `70s soul and funk. The guys so enjoyed playing together that they decided to continue on as a band.

Formed in 2001 by guitarist and producer Jean Pascal Boffo, they make songs with surreal texts and pop, folk and electro atmospheres.

Chillout/electronica duo based in London, UK, comprised of Dennis Wheatley and Nina Miranda. After a single in 2001, and this debut CD in 2006, they unfortunately have not done much.

Mitar Subotic was born in 1961 in Serbia, but emigrated to Brazil where he became a prominent producer. This was his debut record, issued a few days before he died. Cibelle is the vocalist on this track.
