I had this very Faust album, I bought for like a dollar in like 1980 (cutout) because I had read about them in Trouser Press magazine. I did NOT like it at the time. It wasn't anything like The Clash, Talking Heads, Slade, Kate Bush, other bands I loved then. Now, on the other hand, b/c of Stereolab, Th' Faith Healers, old Neu!, and other current long-running faves, this track was wonderful. Ty Jen

there's a Dhyana (buddhist doom) song that fades out midsong, gets super quiet, then returns with a vengeance. What buddhists call a "gone" moment where you notice the rise, peak, and fall of an event.

Nahhh a few months ago I was listening idlely and the robo DJ played the actual tech issue track like normal. Scared the hell out of me LOL

I have a funny story regarding another show I went to that had similar blown electronics. Once I settle in at the shop

right on!

So it was 2019 I think, a real heavyweight dubstep dj had a stop at some makeshift venue in Philly. The place was an old store or smth, no ventilation at all. Not even halfway into his set, the place was so packed and jumping, the ceiling was dripping with condensation from so many bodies packed in one place. Took out the power strips for the entire setup and he had to switch to the CDJs for a couple of tracks after a silent period. The vibes were HOT.

The backrooms leading to the smoke area was shared by a goth party next door too, so there was that. What an unforgettable night haha

hahah the old days of sweaty club walls! now my brain screams "death trap," but i bet it was a blast!
