Hello!
Number 6 5:01:14 PM
Greetings!
Lizbot (host) 5:03:23 PM
Hi Number 6!
Carlos Ramone 5:04:55 PM
Buenas tardes

Number 6 5:07:54 PM
The synth night last Thursday was very informative. George should go sometime. The next one is Feb. 5.
Lizbot (host) 5:09:14 PM
@Number 6 - Good to know! Will mark on calendar!
Number 6 5:11:06 PM
Patty Smith will be in Princeton on Monday, are you going?
Lizbot (host) 5:14:26 PM
@Number 6 - I just saw Patti at The Met on 11/29 with her son and daughter, so I'm skipping the Princeton show, which is I know more of a book tour event. A few days after her Met show, which was a full concert, she did a book tour show also in Philly, but I couldn't make it to that
Lizbot (host) 5:17:40 PM
@Number 6 - Book show in Philly coincided with my daughter's birthday. Princeton show should be good, considered getting tickets
Number 6 5:20:03 PM
I got a decent seat for $70.
Lizbot (host) 5:22:44 PM
@Number 6 - Not bad!
Lizbot (host) 5:23:10 PM
@Number 6 - I haven't gotten to any show at McCarter this season
Number 6 5:24:59 PM
So how was the show?
Lizbot (host) 5:28:50 PM
@Number 6 - Oh it was great! Honestly, I had been looking forward to it all year, and something went wrong with my ticket where the Ticketmaster ticket pass not the barcode was loading on my phone and The Met was being uptight about it, so my friend and I almost didn't get in because I got both our tickets, but it all worked out, and thank goodness because Patti was incredible. One of my favorite shows of the past few years
sorry it's andrew 5:35:08 PM
hi lizbot! thanks for the awesome pairing of cardiacs + turtles have short legs while i was driving earlier
Number 6 5:36:09 PM
@Lizbot- Cool!
Lizbot (host) 5:37:03 PM
Hi Andrew! I'm glad you enjoyed that! Both songs make me happy
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:38:46 PM
Gosh, love this track! Improving my mood vastly!
Lizbot (host) 5:39:40 PM
Greetings, addie🐍🐍🐍plum + sneks! The drums on this track especially make me smile
Lizbot (host) 5:40:34 PM
@addie🐍🐍🐍plum - I hope you are having a good first holiday season back in Philly! I have not had a Christmas trolley sighting just yet!
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:41:24 PM
I got to ride on a different jolly trolley this morning! Two days in a row seems lucky!
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:42:04 PM
Excited to check out West Craft fest and the black hound clay studio holiday markets this weekend!

Lizbot (host) 5:43:25 PM
@addie🐍🐍🐍plum - oooh, trolley serendipity = good luck for the rest of the month!
Lizbot (host) 5:45:04 PM
@Andrew - I missed her last time she played The Met, so I was determined to see her this time! Bought the ticket way back in March! Normally I'm in NYC with in-laws all Thanksgiving weekend, but this year I stayed in the Philly area for that show and it all worked out, thankfully!
Lizbot (host) 5:45:56 PM
This song reminds me of early The Who
Lizbot (host) 5:46:43 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 - Turkish guru in a sausage canoe, or a saucy canoe...a sauce-doused sausage canoe!
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:48:13 PM
Not the funky drummer!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:48:25 PM
Not the funky drummer!
Lizbot (host) 5:48:40 PM
@addie🐍🐍🐍plum - Oh yes, there are SO many holiday markets this weekend! I am waaaay behind on holiday shopping and I was to get to West Craft Fest and Black Hound. There's also one in Mt Airy - Allens Lane Art Center - this weekend. But I'm still getting over this flu so I don't know how much I'll actually get to anything this weekend! I'm definitely past the worst part.
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:48:51 PM
Hahaha jinx!
Lizbot (host) 5:49:01 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 / @addie🐍🐍🐍plum - Oh no!!! For real?!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:49:05 PM

addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:49:30 PM

Lizbot (host) 5:49:34 PM

Lizbot (host) 5:49:42 PM
Oh phew!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:49:47 PM
@Lizbot, heck yeah (your 5:49 comment), the funky drummer played for 30-45 or more seconds
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:49:47 PM

Ack!

Kerrofflesburgsteinski 5:51:23 PM
Hi! Starting to think Doom Drummer has a contractual obligation at least once a week.
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:52:32 PM
@Kerroffle, you're probably right
Lizbot (host) 5:52:38 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 - Wait...the broadcast isn't back for you, or funky drummer isn't?? I can't tell from ur comment
Lizbot (host) 5:52:48 PM
Hi Kerrofflesburgsteinski!
Lizbot (host) 5:53:37 PM
@Kerrofflesburgsteinski - Funky drummer has to fulfill his contractual yearly obligations before the end of 2025 I guess!
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:54:45 PM
@Lizbot, when addie said it's back at 5:49, I thought she was saying the funky drummer was back. I realize now she was saying that the broadcast was back. So ignore my 5:50 comment, which I will delete momentarily
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:55:30 PM
A Sparksy Christmas song!
Lizbot (host) 5:55:37 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 - Ah!
Lizbot (host) 5:57:02 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 - Sparks rain down like tinsel on Christmas cheer...or gloom...depending on how you read this song. I love the holidays, but I thank god it's not Christmas because I've been sick and have gotten very few holiday things done I want to before the 25th!
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 5:57:42 PM
they/them for me please 🥰
Rob from Maryland 🦀 5:58:38 PM
@Lizbot, oh no, I hope you feel better soon!!!!!
Lizbot (host) 5:58:54 PM
@addie🐍🐍🐍plum - I'm worried funky drummer is lurking now!
Carlos Ramone 6:04:28 PM
Funky drummer sounds like they could have done a track or two on some later beastie boys albums
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 6:05:21 PM
Funky drummer knows when to strike, he senses your remote inputs and must respond.
Bike R 6:05:34 PM
Yes, it's totally "dodge 'ems"!
Lizbot (host) 6:06:27 PM
@Bike R - "dodge 'ems" is so good! I want that term to take off here
Lizbot (host) 6:08:03 PM
@Rob from Maryland 🦀 - thanks! I really hate being sick for the holidays. I had so. many. plans! But this thing kicked my butt. Too many viruses out there right now. It's the last year of my kid even being a kid, so I wanted to do ALL the holiday traditions! Best laid plans...
Bike R 6:08:17 PM
That's what we always called 'em
Bike R 6:09:10 PM
@lizbot -- best cure is a big glass of whiskey with a whole lemon. If don't drink, then hot tea...
Lizbot (host) 6:09:48 PM
@Bike R - Whereabouts? Maybe that term is used in other parts of the states? We only ever called 'em "bumper cars" on the Jersey shore, and I didn't hear "dodge 'em's" until I heard it from a Brit!
Lizbot (host) 6:10:27 PM
@Kerrofflesburgsteinski - Funky Drummer should probably get his own song in Jon Solomon's Holiday Marathon!
Bike R 6:10:35 PM
Ohio!
Lizbot (host) 6:10:54 PM
@Kerrofflesburgsteinski - The Little Funky Drummer Boy!
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 6:12:59 PM
His time has arrived. lol
Lizbot (host) 6:13:40 PM
@Bike R - Oh crazy! Well I have only been to Ohio once on a road-trip during which I mostly only passed through on my way to Michigan after visiting my friend in Pittsburgh. I stopped once in OH for lunch and some buckeyes for a sweet snack later. But my husband's uncle married a woman from OH and she introduced me to the regionalism of vinegar pie!
Lizbot (host) 6:14:07 PM
@Kerrofflesburgsteinski - Can't tell if that means Funky Drummer is back right now or not!
Lizbot (host) 6:15:08 PM
@Carlos Ramone - Funky Drummer has probably been sampled before! Someone should make an entire show...or at least a set, maybe...of Funky Drummer-sampled songs!
addie🐍🐍🐍plum 6:16:10 PM
I do not hear the dulcet drumming. All is well.
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 6:17:59 PM
Funky is just seasonally relevant and appears at the whim of tangles wires.
Lizbot (host) 6:18:31 PM
This is WPRB's own version of The Little Drummer Boy Challenge!: How long can you listen to WPRB without hearing the Funky Drummer?!
Lizbot (host) 6:19:16 PM
@addie🐍🐍🐍plum - I must ward off the spirit of the drummer with better percussion!
Lizbot (host) 6:20:06 PM
@Kerrofflesburgsteinski - To be technical about it, Funky Drummer only occurs with the internet's series of tubes gets clogged
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 6:22:28 PM
Do love this answer of cool vibe stuff!
Carlos Ramone 6:24:41 PM
@Liz..the drummer boy challenge should be how long can you listen w/o alerting the DJ..one time driving on turnpike must have been over 10+ minutes for me since I couldn’t go in the chat
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 6:25:35 PM
It's a very interactive part of the shows... lol
Lizbot (host) 6:26:10 PM
@Kerrofflesburgsteinski - The Funky Drummer keeps us on our toes!
Lizbot (host) 6:27:31 PM
@Carlos Ramone - Oh no! Yeah, don't crash trying to alert the DJ! WWFDD? Is that what Funky Drummer wants? Only Funky Drummer knows!
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 6:27:41 PM
It's definitely a trigger. :)
Carlos Ramone 6:29:03 PM
According to a recent chat with Mike L LDB will be unemployed soon by the station
Lizbot (host) 6:29:48 PM
@Carlos Ramone / @Kerrofflesburgsteinski - I sense a horror movie in the works! Alert A24. Faint drumming as he approaches. Next thing you know, all you can hear is Funky Drummer, even out of the mouths of friends & family!
G Jax 6:30:40 PM
Don't believe I've heard anything by NENA besides the obvious one. I like this has sort of a tempus fugit vibe by yes
G Jax 6:31:07 PM
just the one part not the chorus
Lizbot (host) 6:31:43 PM
Hi G Jax!
G Jax 6:32:46 PM
howdy Liz
Lizbot (host) 6:33:32 PM
@G Jax - Yeah, I somehow never delved into Nena's discography and only knew 99 luftballoons too until I went to Germany in 2024 and heard "Nur geträumt" on the radio!
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 6:33:55 PM
Oh yeah, Funky is quick on the trigger. Don't put him in NORAD.
Lizbot (host) 6:34:14 PM
@G Jax - I guess this one-hit-wonder themed song by Adam Ant is fitting for Nena!
Number 6 6:35:25 PM
Someone should do a version of "Cake" by Todd Colby as background music.
G Jax 6:35:25 PM
would love to go to Germany. Never been. My wife has but it was like 30 years ago, but it was a Christmas time which is a pretty nice bonus.
G Jax 6:35:45 PM
Germany at Christmas is pretty amazing. I hear.
Lizbot (host) 6:37:07 PM
@Kerrofflesburgsteinski - Yikes! Like that part in the story in Spalding Gray's "Swimming to Cambodia" where the coked-up lieutenant has his person poised over the big red button to unlock the nukes!
Lizbot (host) 6:37:20 PM
Hey you, there, with the duck on your head!

Sparks again, love this song!

George Korein 6:51:37 PM
Donkey Kong's byline is "a monkey of barrels"
Lizbot (host) 6:54:19 PM
@George Korein - What where does that leave Phyllis Diller?
George Korein 6:54:26 PM
I guess the byline would just be "monkey of barrels." "A Monkey of Barrels" would be his memoir or biopic
George Korein 6:55:38 PM

Dale Hazelton 7:05:41 PM
hey now. saw the minutemen in 84 or 85 at irving plaza in ny. didn't really know who they were but i survived moshing.
George Korein 7:07:27 PM
what if there was a tribute to the minutemen made by very small people called The Minute Men (pronounced "mine-oot")
Lizbot (host) 7:07:32 PM
Hi Andrea Pier! Thank you! This flu is kicking my butt. My throat is so sore from coughing!
Lizbot (host) 7:07:40 PM
Hi Dale Hazelton!
George Korein 7:08:03 PM
time for your butt to kick back
George Korein 7:08:28 PM
what happens when butts stop being nice and start getting real
Lizbot (host) 7:09:00 PM
@Dale Hazelton - Nice! I would've loved to have seen that! I survived Mike Watt falling down my friend's stairs in 2008 and so did he!
Lizbot (host) 7:09:35 PM
Hi Kelly Nielsen! I didn't see you there before the mic break!
Dale Hazelton 7:09:50 PM
i had a cold from before thanksgiving to last week. i went out to do some errands at the end of last week and got the flu. i've been coughing and sneezing and hacking up for almost a month and so i feel your pain. i'm sick of tea and hot water with lemon and honey.
Lizbot (host) 7:09:55 PM
@Kelly Nielsen - I love that whole album so much
Lizbot (host) 7:10:19 PM
@George Korein - Ooh, you should make The Minoot Men happen!
George Korein 7:10:33 PM
"i don't even know what i don't even know"
Lizbot (host) 7:11:26 PM
@George Korein - That's my point. Had D. Boon not died, the band might have still been around well into my concert-going days!
George Korein 7:12:24 PM
i guess it could be squeaky voices and it could be north pole elves covering a minutemen song in some xmas fashion
Lizbot (host) 7:12:30 PM
@George Korein - Yeah, I love that line. Starlee Kine's excellent but sadly short-lived podcast "Mystery Show" made good use of this song in its intro
George Korein 7:13:08 PM
as someone in our household likes to say "you didn't even know"
George Korein 7:13:25 PM
and you too also have been known to say "you don't even know"
Lizbot (host) 7:13:28 PM
@George Korein - North Pole Nutrias with Miss Pussycat and Mr. Quintron cover Minutemen songs? No Bulbs in this flat. Hell, throw some The Fall in
Kelly Nielsen 7:14:09 PM
This is such a 1977 song
Dale Hazelton 7:14:13 PM
his was a pointless death too.
Lizbot (host) 7:15:36 PM
@Dale Hazelton - And he was lying down without a seatbelt because he was sick! Oof. So tragic.
Kelly Nielsen 7:16:05 PM
So terribly depressing
Lizbot (host) 7:16:28 PM
@Kelly Nielsen - haha, Introducing Sparks underperformed compared with their other 70s albums, but I love Those Mysteries so much!
Lizbot (host) 7:18:02 PM
@Dale Hazelton - oh man...I very much feel your pain! I picked up so much Throat Coat and lemon/ginger/echinacea tea and Amy's No Chicken Noodle soup!
Matt Sabbath 7:19:54 PM
George K my son saw Flipper at 7 and Dayglo Abortions at 8! (math approximate)
Dale Hazelton 7:20:05 PM
i used to like drambuie before i went to sleep with a cold. can't afford that stuff anymore so just plain old nyquil.
George Korein 7:20:22 PM
that's flipping young
Lizbot (host) 7:20:44 PM
@Dale Hazelton - I had Influenza A back in early September, and it took sooooooo long to get rid of that lingering cough after all the other symptoms vanished. NOT looking forward to the neverending wheezy cough doom well into winter!
Lizbot (host) 7:21:01 PM
@George Korein - He was so young. And it was such a freak accident
Dale Hazelton 7:21:55 PM
stay well....the airwaves need you.
G Jax 7:21:59 PM
Nice Jamersonesque bass on the Bettye Swann tune. Unless it actually was Jameson?
George Korein 7:22:00 PM
nah i was responding to Matt Sabbath saying his kid saw Flipper at 7
Lizbot (host) 7:22:06 PM
@George Korein - Oh, now I see Matt Sabbath's comment and realize that you're probably referring to that! Assumed you were referring to D. Boon's death!
Lizbot (host) 7:22:35 PM
@G Jax - Mighta been James Jamerson. have to check!
Matt Sabbath 7:22:38 PM
Do hologram musicians count?
G Jax 7:22:57 PM
I saw Flipper at 7 too. But it was a dolphin on TV.
Matt Sabbath 7:23:38 PM
My boy saw lotsa bands. Dweezil Zappa. An accordion festival that made my ears hurt.
Lizbot (host) 7:23:49 PM
@Matt Sabbath - That is young! My kid saw a lot of shows at that age that she probably would never let us take her to now!
George Korein 7:23:56 PM
did the dolphin sing "life is the only thing worth living for?"
Matt Sabbath 7:24:21 PM
G Jax and the Flipper 90s reboot show! Flipper goes postmodern
John Coffey 7:24:29 PM
Hang in there Lizbot. Just tuned in and heard how raspy you sound get well soon!
George Korein 7:24:39 PM
Victor Wooten and The Minootmen
Lizbot (host) 7:25:14 PM
Hi John Coffey! Yeah, I am really sick of being sick! And if this HAD to happen, I'm mad it happened during the holiday season when I had a lot planned!
Matt Sabbath 7:25:26 PM
George K haaaaaaa!! Victor HUHwooooooooten. Ya really gotta blow some air, southern style.
Andrea Pier 7:25:30 PM
Well, you sound amazing and I love all the shows and all the DJs you ladies and gentlemen are always amazing and feel better and enjoy your honey and lemon. I'm sure you're drinking.
G Jax 7:26:03 PM
Ha I didn't know until the second ago. They remade flipper in the 90s now I'm talking about the original and now I look at the date that I was exactly 0 years old when that came out. But I watched it and reruns up until I was, I don't know seven or so
Lizbot (host) 7:26:05 PM
@G Jax - ha! Now the Flipper theme is in my head. Pitch must have been "Lassie but a dolphin"
George Korein 7:26:26 PM
Tarkus but a dolphin
Matt Sabbath 7:26:35 PM
DO YOU HAVE THE CAN JAM, MAN - Deaner
George Korein 7:26:37 PM
Dolphin Kong
Matt Sabbath 7:26:52 PM
George K yesssssssss dolphin prog
Lizbot (host) 7:26:55 PM
@Andrea Pier - Thank you so much, I appreciate that a lot! I hate that underwater feeling when you're sick and time and everything moves weirdly!
G Jax 7:27:14 PM
That and Gentle Ben.
George Korein 7:27:16 PM
jump over those barrels that they attach to Jaws
Lizbot (host) 7:27:22 PM
@Matt Sabbath - HA! Hearing that in Ween-voice
George Korein 7:27:52 PM
flu should be banned
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:28:07 PM
Wooten sensibly doling it out.
Matt Sabbath 7:28:35 PM
Flipper died a natural death/ He caught a nasty virus - Gibby Haynes, et alia
George Korein 7:28:37 PM
"take a viral load off, Fanny" - the banned
G Jax 7:28:42 PM
still never rode one of them air boats in the Everglades. Bucket list shit. That and going to Germany.
Matt Sabbath 7:29:16 PM
Lizbot you heard right!! Deaner said that on his kid's college radio show. Lol!
G Jax 7:29:26 PM
Was just talking about that butthole surfers song on Thanksgiving.
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:29:27 PM
Which Flipper? I heard there were like five of them.
George Korein 7:29:36 PM
Flipper died of the flu?
Lizbot (host) 7:29:45 PM
@G Jax - They put Flipper reruns on Nick At Nite when I was a kid, and I could not distinguish one episode from another, they were all delightful though. I would watch a half hour of just a dolphin swimming around. Better than most stuff on TV back then!
Matt Sabbath 7:29:49 PM
G Jax hell yeah! I wanna wrassle a gator.
G Jax 7:29:55 PM
According to Gibby he did
George Korein 7:30:07 PM
everglade air boat > everglade air freshener
George Korein 7:30:21 PM
Doll fin
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:30:26 PM
The airboad was boss
Matt Sabbath 7:30:38 PM
Gibby has a unique tale on reality, informed by LSD and texas bbq
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:30:45 PM
airboat
George Korein 7:30:51 PM
airboat chases, a staple of tv back when
G Jax 7:30:56 PM
Yeah there was also another show. What the hell was it with the bridges Brothers and their dad Lloyd Bridges. Around the same time as flipper and gentle Ben. All outdoorsy kind of stuff.
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:31:15 PM
Sea Hunt!
Lizbot (host) 7:31:19 PM
@George Korein - everglade air boat = refreshing swamp air in yr face. everglade air freshener = someone recently barfed in this cab
G Jax 7:31:37 PM
I like that meme that says growing up I always thought quicksand would be a bigger problem than it was. I'm paraphrasing, but that's the essence of the meme but it's funny as hell because man quicksand was terrifying.
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:31:51 PM
Swamp magic
Lizbot (host) 7:32:02 PM
@George Korein - WOotin' it Up and Amping up the Watts with Victor & Mike
George Korein 7:32:02 PM
yikes. make you long for the swamp
Matt Sabbath 7:32:13 PM
Love the Cheer-Accident! That song about the Fall is bonkers. (season, not band)
Matt Sabbath 7:32:49 PM
Quicksand will put you smack dab in the moment.
G Jax 7:33:16 PM
Yes just scrolling back Sea Hunt. That was it.
George Korein 7:33:18 PM
Wootin' it up! Move over Snap Crackle Pop Manny Moe Jack Alvin Simon Theodore... we're Rootin' tootin' and Wooten
Matt Sabbath 7:33:25 PM
George K good thing NJ is a swamp and nearby.
George Korein 7:33:41 PM
ah the cocteau twins are assuaging my brain
Lizbot (host) 7:33:47 PM
@Matt Sabbath - We took my kid to these experimental improv and "new frictionalist" shows when she was little. That was her normal. She has since learned that her parents are weird.
G Jax 7:33:55 PM
Somewhere on the swamps of Jersey. Where exactly is that Bruce?
Matt Sabbath 7:34:18 PM
Wooten Plays Putin (Putin composes in his free time)
George Korein 7:34:32 PM
secaucus, mayhaps?
George Korein 7:34:53 PM
Sea hunt, sea caucus, sea lab 2050
Dale Hazelton 7:35:00 PM
i thought the last band was cocteau twins.
Matt Sabbath 7:35:06 PM
G Jax Bruce is in prime swamp land, Colts Neck
G Jax 7:35:09 PM
Yes, caucus up that way Meadowlands can be swampy I guess but it ain't like Everglades swamps
Lizbot (host) 7:35:15 PM
@George Korein - "take a viral load off, Fanny" - oh my god. yeah, make that song
George Korein 7:35:26 PM
Wooten plays Putin... for a fool!
Matt Sabbath 7:35:29 PM
Return of the Secaucus 7
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:35:45 PM
SeaCocteau Twins
Matt Sabbath 7:36:07 PM
G Jax true! I'm an old Gainesville FL boi so I hearya re real swamps
George Korein 7:36:31 PM
Putin thought Wooten would eventually stop slapping and tapping and rapping but that wouldn't happen!
Matt Sabbath 7:37:44 PM
Putin plays a mean slapbass. Knows all the Primus songs.
George Korein 7:37:45 PM
in the Ric Burns NYC history doc they say that a bunch of statuary from the old Penn station was dumped in the swamps in Jersey. that seems unlikely, right?
Lizbot (host) 7:37:54 PM
\haha, I'm so behind on these comments! I have flu brain!
George Korein 7:38:21 PM
like, if it was, people would have hauled it out by now, right? that would be a real relic people would want
G Jax 7:38:30 PM
Well, I'm a South Jersey boy and I don't know much about what goes on above Burlington County but I do know it isn't like swampy like the swamps you speak of
Matt Sabbath 7:38:30 PM
George K the NJ swamps hold many secrets. Many.
Lizbot (host) 7:39:09 PM
@Matt Sabbath - The Autumn Wind Is a Pirate? That was from an old NFL Films poem over some football footage, narrated by Philadelphia's own the late John Facenda (who also narrated the Wanamaker's Holiday Light Show!)
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:39:12 PM
The mob dumps all kinds of stuff in the Jersey swamps at night. You mane it... lol
Matt Sabbath 7:39:13 PM
G Jax swampy as metaphor, perhaps. Or NJ in the summa.
Lizbot (host) 7:39:35 PM
Speaking of old shows I watched as a kid in reruns!
Matt Sabbath 7:39:46 PM
Lizbot that's the one! Amazeballs song.
G Jax 7:39:58 PM
Yeah, I knew it was a metaphor, but for fun I like to make it literal
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:40:09 PM
Hawaii 6.0?
Matt Sabbath 7:40:34 PM
Roff I run with the dutch mafia and we dump things in da swamp all the time. Between us.
G Jax 7:41:03 PM
What like wooden shoes?
Andrea Pier 7:41:19 PM
Burlington county has BNA which I don't know why is not shut down. It is so disgusting to have all those men waiting for one woman to show up. That's obviously broken
Matt Sabbath 7:41:21 PM
G Jax excellent. People struggle with metaphor. Ye nailed it.
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:41:39 PM
Never gonna hear it from me Matt. :)
Matt Sabbath 7:41:42 PM
G Jax! When they rot out, into da swamp they go.
George Korein 7:42:11 PM
people managed to dig up the ET games buried in the New Mexico desert, right? that's probably a lot hard than swampcombing for statues that would be museum pieces
Matt Sabbath 7:42:53 PM
George K that doc is hilarious. That ET game sucked.
George Korein 7:43:26 PM
part of what is super cool in "a show of hands" is that the "tenor bass" he's playing is in stereo, so the panning is spectac
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:43:44 PM
I heard a story about guys throwing small gold bars into the Delaware. NJ has many treasures.
Matt Sabbath 7:44:25 PM
George K you talkin bout dem Rush boys?
George Korein 7:44:26 PM
there's gold in them thar thelaware
George Korein 7:44:48 PM
no i'm talking about the wooten song from earlier, of the same title
Matt Sabbath 7:44:58 PM
ah yes
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:45:14 PM
They did not get the melt it down thing and were worried about being caught. Kids!
Matt Sabbath 7:45:31 PM
HUHWOOOOOOOOOOTEN (papers fly everwhere)
George Korein 7:45:41 PM
"a show of hands" is also the title of a crafty guitarists album
George Korein 7:45:50 PM
everyone wanted to show their hands
George Korein 7:46:11 PM
Whoo! 10
George Korein 7:46:41 PM

George Korein 7:46:56 PM

Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:47:00 PM
League of crafty guitarists had a lot of hands to show.
Matt Sabbath 7:47:07 PM

George Korein 7:48:28 PM
every rapper in d-ware has bars
George Korein 7:48:33 PM
i'm well aware
Lizbot (host) 7:48:34 PM
@Matt Sabbath - I love The Autumn Wind Is a Pirate. Once in a while I play the whole thing on the show
George Korein 7:49:26 PM
The autumn of the pirate arc
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:49:43 PM
Dive bars in the Delaware for fun and profit.
George Korein 7:50:07 PM

Lizbot (host) 7:51:31 PM
@Matt Sabbath - and speaking of dolphins, Seacaucus and dolphin-adjacent creatures: John Sayles made a seal movie: The Secret of Roan Inish!
George Korein 7:51:49 PM
The brother from another planet... Neptune NJ, that is
George Korein 7:52:18 PM
The secret of roamin' fish
Lizbot (host) 7:52:48 PM

Lizbot (host) 7:52:55 PM

George Korein 7:53:07 PM
such as Mary Lee
George Korein 7:53:49 PM
once she was tagged it was hard for her to keep secrets
George Korein 7:55:44 PM
"Mary Lee was named after OCEARCH expedition leader Chris Fischer's mother. “My parents have done so much. I was waiting and waiting for a special shark to name after her and this is truly the most historic and legendary fish I have ever been a part of and it set the tone for Cape Cod,“ says Chris."
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:55:57 PM
The end is near! Repent and stuff!
Kerrofflesburgsteinski 7:56:07 PM
Thx Lizbot!
