I only learned about Nikki from the Donnas song you just played. I checked the reference and it's a real band with one release from 1981 that only 14 people own on vinyl. Exactly what I come to WPRB for.

That's a huge generality I know. I really could say people are not into anything interesting as a general rule. Like all people. Hence the reason why I'm here. Music where there's generally no audience for that's where I belong.

Yeah, I really had no basis in what I said there. I think in general people as a whole are not open minded about things musical and that doesn't know a country or region or anything. Hell everybody involve in stations like this are pretty much all American. So there's that.

And Funny ever since old Ace Frehley died I've gone back to my roots. Kiss was as basic as you can get, but man that's really was my entry into musical.

Music. I didn't listen to kiss after a while, but that was my introduction. And I can recognize it for what it was and it was pretty good catchy good with a hook rock music. And of course, a 12-year-old I was when it came out. It was sensory overload and just awesome.
