Greetings to Dan and his listeners . NicecRay Bryant opener. House pianist at Phila Blue Note club and a regular at Billy Kretchmers iconic venue

Forgot to announce that! I ran in a bit late but have a comp/ called "The Jazz Hits from the hot 100 1958-66" with all those great jazzy Station of the Stars-worthy hits....

Looking for some help. I may have mentioned this to you already. I found a Jazz program currently at 1:00AM. The host is Turshu and she is terrific. I wrote to the station manager to try and get the program moved into a better hour if the host is amenable to a move. This would benefit the host to get a larger audience than she can get at 1:00AM and also help the station which has lost two Jazz programs. If you have any influence I seek your help. Thanks.

Of all the musicians I've ever seen, the most frequent has been Jamaaladeen Tacuma. Lived in this area my whole life.

"The Red Carpet Room". i believe it's still there. He picked the clothes Ornette and the band wore on their SNL appearance....

Arkestra also played the show, as did Captain Beefheart.

Yep. This is wonderful. Heard it or similar on bootleg comps before but great to hear it clean and pristine now. Super crisp guitar tones from Jimi. Always keep the tape rolling... so glad they did.

GE Smith in the Dylan touring band from 1988 to early 90s was a great touch to the lead guitar. I believe he was musical director too. Before longtime bass man Tony Guarnier got on board the neverending tours and became director.

GE was married to Gilda Radner briefly.

Yep those MTV videos w/Tom T Bone Wolk on bass too. And of course GE on SNL longtime bandleader. Saw a little video blurb of GE Smith talking about Mike Bloomfield's famous sawed-off Telecaster. I think GE owns it. Mike wanted a cutaway on top or something... GE played a little on it during the video and told about the history of the guitar in performance (Newport w/Dylan etc)

No way... the missing "heavenly wine and roses..." bridge should have never been removed from Loaded. Much better that they put it back on the later issues. It is an essential part of the song.
