If you can get it, his "Art of Improvisation" is a great video and more of an autobiographical video than just about improvisation.

A couple of pledge drives ago, I supported Jerry Gordon at $103.30 and asked him for no merchandise. He still sent me a new release of Keith Jarrett's previously not put out but now issued music by Manfred Eicher's ECM. You caught me up late, I wish you were on earlier.

I have to go to bed now [I am 84 years old], but before I go, I want to recommend more great content: "The Bad Plus" trio with Ethan Iverson, no longer in tact, now a quartet without Ethan, who has the strongest left hand in Jazz. There are plenty of extant recordings.

Jerry is an old radio friend. I actually got him connected up with a Klezmer group from Philadelphia and it turned out their families go way back together in Philly. I used to love it during pledge drives when Jerry and the now missing and misplaced Will Constantine Jr would come on each other's shows and just gab and play great Jazz. I miss Will a lot, and his Latin Jazz alter ego "Rico Calamari". That's it from me. Thanks.
