The woman who knits in the stands during every Jays playoff games is very charming. She ran out of yarn during Monday night's epic tilt.

Jon, I just pledged to the station, supplementing my recurring donation, so eventually one of those cool owl stickers will be on its way.

Rob, that was very nice of you to do and I hope others will consider a trip to pledge.wprb.com between now and November 22. I'll make a note to have them throw in some extras too.

as a person who has dined at the old spaghetti factory and been in the cn tower and caught a lot of canadian television growing up south of buffalo i consider toronto practically the home team.

Definitely the voice of many a day after school for me after I discovered music on the radio.

I miss seeing Mike Brito behind home plate with the radar gun and a cigar at every Dodgers game. I say this as a lifelong Phillies fan.

@Dale, absolutely. Barn owls are shy & flighty, Barred owls have acclimated to suburbs and to humans to some degree, as you have found out

I have a friend running for mayor of a town outside Boston and it has been fun to follow his campaign from afar. Not sure I could manage as much glad-handing as he does regularly.

kissing hands, shaking babies - reverse that - yes it's alot. We're friends - my wife was her work wife at CLS years ago - with Rue Landau, Philly council person at large and watching her have to shmooze all the time - I would be exhausted.

An always on job for sure.
