Dr. Natesan Ramani (15 October 1934 – 9 October 2015), commonly known as N. Ramani or N. Flute Ramani, was an Indian Carnatic flautist. Ramani was born into a family of flautists, learning first from his grandfather, Aazhiyur Narayanaswami Iyer. He later became a disciple of his maternal uncle and eminent flautist, T. R. Mahalingam.

Dr. Bhavani Prakash is a physician by profession and musician by passion. She is an "A" Grade artist of All India Radio, and is equally versatile on vocal, veena and venu.

Trippunithura Narayanaiyer Krishnan (1928 – 2020) was born in Tripunithura, Kerala. He learnt music from his father A. Narayana. Accompanied here by his daughter Viji Krishnan) (also violin) T.V. Gopalakrishnan (mridangam) and T.H. Vinayakram (ghatam).

Maharajapuram S. Ramachandran is the son and disciple of Maharajapuram Santhanam.

Aruna Sairam was born in Mumbai in 1952, received vocal training from her mother Rajalakshmi Sethuraman, who was a student of the Alathur Brothers and Thanjavoor Sankara Iyer. Her father Sethuraman was a music connoisseur who hosted musicians in the family home. At one of these gatherings, Aruna met Smt. T. Brinda, who trained her in the style of Veena Dhanammal.

Padma Talwalkar was born in Pune on 28 February 1949. She studied in three main styles or gharanas: Gwalior, Kirana and Jaipur. Her first Guru was Pt. Pimpalkhare of the Kirana Gharana, and later she trained under Mogubai Kurdikar of the Jaipur Gharana. From Pandit Gajananrao Joshi she incorporated elements of the Gwalior-Agra-Jaipur Gharana. She also credits Kishori Amonkar as a major influence.

Kadri Gopalnath (1949 – 2019) pioneered the saxophone in Carnatic music. One of his teachers was vocalist and mridangam player T. V. Gopalakrishnan.

Sulochana Pattabhiraman ( ? - 2008) was a musician and musicologist. She had her basic training in music under R. V. Subramaniam, Kalyanakrishna Bhagavathar and Sattur Subramaniam, she later came under the tutelage of N. Balasubramanian, S. Kalyanaraman and Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer.

For those counting at home, this is in "Simhanandanam" tala. Simhanandana is the longest talam in world music. It has 18 angas, 128 kriyas (or beats) and 512 aksharas (units of time). By comparison, 1 avartha of Simhanandana Tala is equivalent to 16 avarthas of Adi Tala.

Dhruba Ghosh (1957 - 2017) was a sarangi player from Mumbai. His father is tabla maestro Nikhil Ghosh. He is the nephew of flute maestro Pannalal Ghosh.

T. H. "Vikku" Vinayakram & the Sri Mahaperiyava Group (comprising 17 musicians) perform this Carnatic fusion that is, as you might have guessed, percussion dominated.

Gurdas Maan was born in Giddarbaha Punjab in 1957. He is active in Punjabi language music and film."Dil Da Mamla Hai" was the song that brought him national attention when he sang it on Doordarshan (the national television network) in 1980.
