A Triggering Myth was formed in 1989 by Rick Eddy and Tim Drumheller, a duo of multi-instrumentalists who handle keyboards, guitars, percussions, flute and trumpet, although they regularly enlist the contribution of talented guest musicians. On their final two releases, they were joined by label-mates McGill Manring Stevens. This appears to be their final release.

Originally issued by the group "Lockwood", which was the first band formed by brothers Francis Lockwood (keyboards) and Didier Lockwood (violin) after the latter's departure from Magma. The band also included another ex-Magma's member Patrick Gauthier (keyboards). Lockwood was short lived, and after they split, Gauthier and drummer Kirt Rust would rejoin in Magma-influenced band Weidorje, while Didier Lockwood would join ZAO before being reunited with his brother Francis and bassist Bunny Brunel in Surya.
