Several times at John & Peters

Richie Cole, Bo Parker, Bob Smith organ trio... Bootsy Barnes.... back in the 1990s some friends hepped me out to those guys and saw them here and there guesting and cross pollinating on their live stuff in NJ. Mostly Trenton area but I think we went a bit further south towards Phila area to see Bootsy Barnes somewhere....

Great memories of Will C playing at J&Ps with his own and other bands over the years. Lively moment of the show was his re-working of "Down San Diego Way" by Arthur Blythe. Took the lively horn parts and groove and just ran with it. Did some spoken word or more like SHOUTED word inspirational musical education and just worked the crowd up. The highlight of his shows definitely.
