PREX and downtown Princeton = been there! Especially the wondrous smells!

Glad that today's Princeton expedition was so productive!

The lovely sight to see is The Fountain of Freedom on Princeton University!

Yep, same here. Y;know ... what PREX, Labyrinth and WPRB all have in common that they're not just businesses or operations ... they are true communities.

Omg smells awesome!! Love the sakura trees surrounding it as well! I was there on a rainy spring day, which made it more ambient serene!!

@ Ossy Wonderful description! As someone once said, the first part to right understanding of a place is correct smelling of it.

Richard- I gotta see it again on a sunny day! And wowie for you meeting mackerel in person on top of that!

Rosasolis also loves the fountain place and yeah Rich, a great feature is by its scent to understand and appreciate it!

She had on an awesome WPRB t-shirt, which led to my asking if she's involved with station operations ... and discovering she's one of my very fav hosts! :-D

The Princeton campus itself, love the old school feature feel, so like Harry Potter!

Rich - Amazing stuff! Fellow wprb dj, Bani, also recognized me when I was at downtown prex on record story day 2024 :D. She was so cute and sweet in person like the airwaves! And also Chickpea as well, who've heard of me!

Yes, Ossy! The dining halls of the Mathey and Rockefeller residential colleges at Princeton are soooo Hogwarts! And for a while, the Harry Potter fan students played Quidditch (well, a version of it ... where you gallop on your broomstick, not exactly fly! vs. other universities' teams on the lawns outside. Don't know if they still do, but it was huge fun to watch.

So cool you got to meet Bani, I've been a member of the Bani Babies for a long time. I was terribly disappointed this past Indie Record Store Day that it was so miserably rainy, the WPRB hosts couldn't be outside PREX playing music. So I didn't get to meet more of them.

Sounds like an awesome veteran experience all around downtown princeton and on campus! Yeah bummer, that it was rainy wet on prex 2025, but still went nevertheless to explore more of downtown princeton!! I also called the studio for Bani and was cool!

On 2024 Prex, hung with other djs, methusula mouse, cailyn, abe, rat princess, wisteria Walkman, grady all the way to the barge, which I was helping them carry their stuff back!

Cool .. or maybe we call ourselves "Bani Boppers" ...

And yeah also bummer on the rainy prex, would've also likely met readie, lizbot and rosasolis in person!

ah yeah i was bummed about that too! hopefully we have another event like that soon

also btw i use they/them pronouns :)

A listener named Tyler b, whom I also met prex 2024, traveled up there for nothing during the rainy weather, which felt so bad, he told me! Yeah mackerel, do so and I'll love to be there!
