Hey hey! Happy to be tuned in for another Wednesday show. Missed the last one from 2 weeks ago was on route to Gang of Four.

Around here, "Northwestern" means "Northwestern Oklahoma State College" in Alva. Throws me off every time.

Brian, how was Gang of Four? I'm still salty they skipped Philly / regretting not driving up to see them at a library in Connecticut.

Saw a friend Sunday who was flying out to see them in...Wichita (?) that night.

They were most excellent. Especially dug the tunes they played from Solid Gold. And the show ended at 10 PM which was perfect since we had the 2+ hour drive back from Toronto after.

That is ideal.

@Jon, might you be playing any GI today?

Jen from Running Redlights and I drove down to DC for a GI reunion show in 2011 (or so) wherein I ran into people from all over (especially a strong Pittsburgh contingent). Was a really special 24 hours.

I hadn't really listened to their first four records before in full so I have decided to enjoy them all in full. This was from my first exploration of Crocodiles.

Having a favorite be the penultimate track made it all worth it!

Have made some progress with their second LP but not all the way through it.........yet.

Bunny Men also a band I haven't really spent time with. Such a distinct voice.

The likelihood of having grounding issues get proportionately higher the closer you get to Newark.

@Randy interesting you mention The Mermen. Drummer of my band recently told me about them and I found a copy of Songs of the Cows in the vinyl library at the radio station here in London, Ontario. Killer stuff with surf vibes.
