You might recognize this raga imported from Carnatic music, it reminds of the famous kriti Vatapi Ganapatim

everything starts with Ganesha in Hindu festivals

weddings usually start with a hymn about him, ill give Vatapi Ganpatim a listen!

The WPRB stacks have a nice collection of Indian Classical. Much of it was donated by a longtime listener. But mostly Hindustani. The Carnatic music is still with Rungun to review, but COVID hit before he could add them to the stacks

Yes, Malathi is tremendously knowledgeable and generous, donated about 400 CDs

gotta collect as much physical media as possible in hope it is played on WPRB
