Bani's Bops

Apr 16, 2025 11:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Music

With Bani

welcome to bani's bops, a weekly show featuring all the bops i care to feature that week!

if i had a bad week, it will be all sad music. if i had a GOOD week, expect anything from rock, to metal, to ???

in any case, i hope my playlist resonates with you in some way

it's all about the SPICE

Okay i have the funkiest show today....
so I started reading Mickey7, because I finally have time to read again!!! So I was like, what if I made a sci-fi show?

lo and behold, I head to the stacks, and I hold a cajun album. and i think cajun, like the SPICE and then i think of DUNE. now i have dune and spice in my brain and im like what about the various spices of the world.

so this show- its all about the SPICE. the album covers and vibes of the songs match spices that I will explain i promise (so long as you listen of course)

sincerely yours,

bani

hiiii!!

BANI!

MICHAEL!!!

Hi Bani!!! Oooo spicy!!

Hi Ossy!! so happy you're here!!

Same you too!!! Btw tried reaching the studio but the line went too long and I was kinda ill prepared, due to having lots going on, so another time to call in, haha

OH THAT WAS YOU!!!

Yeah!!!

everytime i tried to answer it just cancelled it on my end

our phones are so weird :(

Oh no, I'm so sorry!!

Baniiiiii !!!!!!! Hello! Great start to the spicy show...

Yeah, really weird signals! Commercial radio stations are more agonizing in wait time!

Its okay Ossy!! I'll make sure to talk to someone about my struggles to fix the phone HAHA

And HELLO alan!! Im glad you're enjoying it!!!

No worries, at least we're freely talking in the chat as always!

and we're not strangers as well LOOOL

Bani: are we gonna hear the soundtrack of the movie "DUNE" ??? or is it too spooky..

This is true! Thank goodness for the chat!! and also, i did not plan the dune soundtrack at all- i somehow thought spice and dune, and then looked for other songs LOL

though, if there is time..... :)

Speaking of spicy themes, one time Commie Francis had a theme show of "smells", LOOOL

oohhh so funny LOL

Bani: A Dune isn't made of spice anyhow, so LOL enjoying the tunes as it is...

YAYY glad to hear it

Bani - Hahaha, so "smelly silly" to excite readie, debby webby and lizbot blahahah https://playlists.wprb.com/WPRB/pl/16781530/Uneasy-Listening?layout=1

( I have yet to put sand on my Pizza)

Some classmate in the elementary school days of mine, put stinky mustard on his pizza, which of course smelled beyond like trash garbagey, teee here

Heeee

(i also do not put sand nor mustard on my pizza)

Garlic salt for sure with some Oregano

(I'll rather put sliced cheese on pizza, as my kind of mustard)

Bani - On random say, did you see that Snow White 2025 movie, despite the mass negative reviews it got?

I did not see Snow White!! I lowkey am just not a fan of remakes however if its that good in your opinion- i might!

I saw it today and it was ok, that Snow White is more active badass similar to the other Snow White of 2012 movie "Snow White and The Huntsman" (which I never saw that one)

Speaking more, Rachel Zegler and Ariana Greenblatt lowkey cute look like sistas!!! https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-tmus-us-revc&sca_esv=12d229cc359fce95&q=rachel+zegler+and+ariana+greenblatt&udm=2&fbs=ABzOT_CpGl4iTifXrR0wiRhoFvN4KC3CZFw4eZw55Dhid0WPwh0pbdXXPcCe9TjVbzqvWIqZwuxswYkDUoz5flvQhe6-pwgrm3qA87V2FCGfnbVhT2RCIijv2YSIEJKtdGiS0z4LM9FLmC0tSGl7YtHcDSeL82UbuAvz3cmhZiMg5Iwg_z8c4VKZOL20fkYssyuh4QXKRWFkBSJ6p9kQlPE4oywGM9D2FOK2N3YrbnxbKh5977ef5CU&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwif8Pzdlt6MAxWcD1kFH

And understand, remakes can sometimes be scary :)

i thought she was good in the prequel to the hunger games r z

I don't follow much of hunger games, but wow!

And that explains her badass SW portrayal I saw

Speaking also for Ariana Greenblatt, she was in that Barbie, Borderlands and Avengers Infinity War movies

i gotta crash night bani night ossy and any other late night chatters!

Goodnight!! Thank you for joining!!

Late nite??we is just gettin' started ...Buckwheat stomp stomp

Later Michael!

And playing Mario Kart 8 along the ride

Bani - I know you just said you're not too big on remakes, but this song you might love I heard recently of the Little Mermaid 2023, "As I Wait For The First Time" by Halle Bailey!

Oh wait you're so right- i didn't even think about the soundtracks!! i do love remakes of music :)

Tbh i would love remakes of these movies too, but I think i haven't had the time to watch new movies let alone newer old movies LOL

That was playing in my head, cause Halle has a cute lovely natural melodic voice, to be Ariel!!

And understanding, since we're adults to have little time for movies/specials!

I will for sure listen!! and thank you for understanding haha, yeah where does time go!

Speaking musicals, will await for Wicked 2: For Good this fall. Also, that live Lilo and Stitch movie coming out next month, LOOOL

yes SO excited for wicked 2, did not realize that there was a live Lilo and Stitch!!

Adore D'Angelo and his "Brown Sugar" classic!!

Been knowing for a while and it's on its way, that I saw trailers. Lilo looking cute there as well, like her animated counterpart!

I also saw in theaters of an upcoming Pixar movie named Eilo!

@ Bani (host) Thanks for another outstanding session of Bani Bopping :-D

Oh yay!! Thanks everyone!!

Thank you Bani!!! Always enjoy your show. Have a nice nite & bcnu!

Stay cute like Ariana Greenblatt and fire like Rachel Snow White Zeigler, Bani!!!

Goodnight everyone!!
