Good morning, terrific choices all. When I was a kid in Chicago, I’d ride the bus to go hear Chicago Symphony String Quartette play, at Chicago Public Library, under the Tiffany mosaic dome, every Sunday, free. The cross section of audience, homeless to wealthy, was almost as great as the music.

My first truly memorable experience with classical music was an organ concert in a centuries-old Basilique in France. Came there all by myself and was blown away by the performance. Before that, organ music always sounded silly to me, but there I finally heard what it was truly composed to sound like and why it was played in Church. Exited the Basilique after the performance and lied in the grass for a solid 10 minutes to recover.

Somebody either played or referenced or both, a album where the locked groove was *not* at the end of the side, but one or two songs from the end

The closest thing I have to a locked groove record is one that I guess has a sub-bass microgroove set up just right to have made my old needle skip unless I doubled the tracking force. The DJ cart I have now gives zero issues
