Great recording, plus its music video is a classic, with a cameo appearance by pro wrestling bad guy manager Lou Albano as Cyndi's father and a quick clip from the 1925 version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame starring Lon Chaney Sr. ("Some boys take a beautiful girl and hide her away from the rest of the world ...")

ohh, I'll definitely check it out! it's perfect timing because I've finally started building a playlist of good music videos so that I can keep track of them :')

are there any other music videos from that time you might recommend off the top of your head? the only one I know of is the take on me music video :)

Money For Nothing by Dire Straits was a classic 80s video. The "3d animation" was pretty advanced for its era!

It did - very similar style - If you haven't watched Midnight Diner it is a lovely little show...short episodes with a simple and delightful vibe
