I feel like I learned to be relatively unreachable and inconsistent with communication in part for that reason, subconsciously, having had several service jobs of that type. Just don't wanna be the go-to person in your manager's mind

Exactly, can't say yes to everything all the time and being too too reliable, cause that's how people take advantage of others

My friend hates that too in being reached out on days off, in having plans on that day

I learned on my trip that Roedellius of Cluster attempted to escape the German Democratic Republic as a teen, got caught by the Stasi, served two years in prison, became a masseuse and then attempted escape again, that time successfully!

Toby Driver from Kayo Dot is on bass on that album I think. Dave Bodie from Time of Orchids in the drummer. Bodie replaced original Time of Orchids drummer Kim Abrams who was George’a touring drummer for a while. These guys have played on each other’s various projects.

I love Zs so I had some familiarity with him there, but the Secular Works albums are really good
