Happy New Year's Eve! This might be the punkest/heaviest Honey It's the Twenties show yet, clearing the way for the All Mellow New Year's Day show tomorrow 10am-noon!
If you're new here I've been playing music from the 2020s for a bit now. Starting with my favorites of 2023 show Saturday before last at 11 I've been on the radio 5 times playing 10 hours of music from this decade, and I really haven't strayed far at all from the rock/punk realm. 2 more shows to go! I could do this practically forever!

I did. My main goal today was to see the Black-throated Gray Warbler, south of DC (https://ebird.org/checklist/S157408772?view=photos for nice photos). This is a western species seen very rarely in the mid-Atlantic. After over 2 hours of waiting, I finally got a quick view of it.

I had a long-running scientific indexing job where we gave the text and abstract languages for different articles so I learned the difference between Spanish, Catalan, and similar languages (and I had studied Spanish and Italian in high school in college)
