And for listeners who become enthralled by Klimt thanks to Sara, you simply MUST visit the Neue Gallerie at 1048 5th Avenue in NYC (across from Central Park at the corner of East 86th St). This captivating museum of early 20th century European art (in a charming historic townhouse) has original Klimt masterpieces in its permanent collection. A must see, with special changing feature exhibits.

Sounds like we need to organize a WPRB field trip.

Maybe we can fold some NYC pizza tourism in there and make this a joint Jon Solomon / Weather Report collab.

They went hard on the grinch song this is fantastic

Boy I never realized how vertical Gustav klimt's preferred viewpoint in his paintings was.

I was surprised too!!

I hadn't seen most of these paintings before making this show and I was surprised by a lot of them

Even "Island in the Attersee" ( which was a real revelation to me) has a strong bottom to top pull, not a typical horizontally oriented seascape

that one was gorgeous

Yes I tuned in late but this setlist is stunning. There are very few that I make a note on the date and time and go look at what was played and then sample it for myself. This is one of them.
