The Wiki on Brij Bhushan Kabra. I'm honestly amazed that I never learned of his wondrous Indian classical music played on Western slide guitar during my hippie days. Ravi Shankar, Ali Akbar Khan, yes of course, but not Mr. Kabra. He's tremendous. I guess ... better late than never. Thanks, DJ MP Noob!

I'm always excited for new musical discoveries! Honestly almost dozed off for a second. These long flowing raags are like the ultimate in relaxation and bliss.

Hey TAndy, happy to be chilling inside today. Looking up directions for a finger lakes trip later this week, eating some Wendys.

Those lakes frighten me. Massive inland bodies of water are alien to me

Yeah I've never been up to that area, so I don't really know what to expect. Trying to do the Watkins Glen gorge hike in all it's autumn splendor, that place looks like Jurassic Park lol

@ DSM Yes, the Watkins Glen gorges are truly awesome. Much much smaller than the Grand Canyon but not lacking in scenic singularity. Enjoy!

I spent two weeks in a hotel outside of Chicago and only went into town once because I was trapped on a night shift out there hahah

The waterfront was excellent

Curse of the night shift! (used to work night shift when I first moved to LA, it did indeed feel like a trap sometimes)

I need to try some real Chicago deep dish

Funny thing I learned. The deep dish is for tourists, and the thin cracker crust is for the locals

That said I LOVE deep dish but it's so bad for me LOL
