HELLO WEDNESDAY CREW! Welcome to a RARE Wednesday SWITCHEROO with LIZBOT!
Jon Solomon 5:00:46 PM
Have a great show, LizBot!
Rob from Maryland 5:02:18 PM
Helloooooooooo
Lizbot (host) 5:02:35 PM
Thanks Jon!
Lizbot (host) 5:02:42 PM
Hi Rob from Maryland!
Lizbot (host) 5:04:04 PM
@Rob - George sent me a bird video about 2 minutes ago, so I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet, but the video still looks like a woodpecker in my backyard...maybe we'll hear it during a mic break?!
Rob from Maryland 5:09:26 PM
@Lizsolobot, I'll keep my ears open.
Lizbot (host) 5:10:25 PM
@Rob - NO sign of the catbird yet!
Lizbot (host) 5:29:07 PM
Gonna pick things up now after a chill slower tempo start!
Lizbot (host) 5:29:52 PM
This intro sounds like the very beginning of pinball wizard
Ossy 5:32:07 PM
Happy Woosa Wednesday, Space Lady Bot!
Lizbot (host) 5:33:55 PM
Hi Ossy!
Lizbot (host) 5:34:25 PM
@Ossy - It's so odd being here a day early...disorienting! I was just on Sunday night too!
Lizbot (host) 5:35:20 PM
@Ossy - Sunday didn't feel as weird because it wasn't off by only 1 day from my usual time...I keep thinking I gotta take the trash out after my show, something that happens Thursday nights for Friday AM trash collection
Rob from Maryland 5:40:57 PM
@Lizbot, no catbird, hooray! Maybe my secret plan is working!
Ossy 5:41:32 PM
Liz - I heard you were on Sunday, hope it was great and yeah, it has an odd feeling coming on an unscheduled day for any, lol. Loads of smelly trash to take out!
Number 6 5:42:27 PM
Greetings all! So the Thursday Hang is on a Wednesday this week.
Richard from Rocky Hill 5:42:52 PM
@ Lizbot (host) Calexico, eh? On the "Crystal Frontier? (Widescreen Version, no less?) Where else but DoublePlusGood? Where else especially but WPRB, Princeton! (So glad I made my pledges ...)
Lizbot (host) 5:43:54 PM
@Rob from Maryland - haha, I kinda miss that little jerk! He won me over with his persistent squeaky-toy chirping
Lizbot (host) 5:44:02 PM
Hi Number 6!
Richard from Rocky Hill 5:44:03 PM
Oh, sorry, that's right, it's the ol' SWITCHEROO today with LIZSOLOBOT ... ;-))
Lizbot (host) 5:44:10 PM
Hi Richard from Rocky Hill!
Lizbot (host) 5:44:49 PM
@Ossy - haha, yeah I have a lot of coffee residues in my trash I consumed to wake myself up!
Andrew G 5:45:31 PM
hi lizbot!
Number 6 5:46:04 PM
I had a bunch of gnats in my trash that I had to kill this week.
Lizbot (host) 5:46:15 PM
@Richard from Rocky Hill - haha, I remember when that Crystal Frontier single and then the Even Sure Things album came out! Hadn't listened to it in quite a while, so it was time to dust it off!
Rob from Maryland 5:46:23 PM
@Lizbot, we saw a catbird in the back yard today. It might have had a map, but we couldn't tell.
Rob from Maryland 5:46:38 PM
@Lizbot, also, who is on after you?
Lizbot (host) 5:46:52 PM
@Number 6 - Glad you find me here! Wednesday crew, you and Captain Ahab...then me and Mike has a sub too!
Lizbot (host) 5:46:59 PM
Hi Andrew G!!
Number 6 5:47:40 PM
I remembered your announcement last week.
Lizbot (host) 5:47:43 PM
@Richard from Rocky Hill - Thank you so much for your support!
Ossy 5:47:47 PM
Liz - LOOOOOOOOL, stinky coffee residues
Lizbot (host) 5:49:18 PM
@Number 6 - oh no! I randomly had an ant invasion during the warmer weather a few weeks ago, (well, I guess not THAT random, considering they tend to come indoors in warm weather,) but thankfully haven't had gnats in a while. Have you tried the apple cider vinegar trick? Fill a shallow bowl with apple cider vinegar. They like it but they slide down and drown in it...kinda mean, but does the trick!
Number 6 5:50:23 PM
I might have to try that again. Summers coming.
Lizbot (host) 5:50:24 PM
@Number 6 - oh good! And my last-minute Sunday show a few nights ago, which I didn't get a chance to announce cuz it was very last-minute! I will have SUB next Thursday, though! DJ Pup will be filling in for me on Thursday, May 11th
Lizbot (host) 5:50:59 PM
@Rob from Maryland - you know, I was wondering the same thing! Gotta check cuz I'm not sure who is filling in for Mike tonight!
Lizbot (host) 5:52:41 PM
AH! @Rob / everyone else - Looks like Deirdre Dionysiac will be filling in for Mike Lupica after me tonight, 8-11 pm
Richard from Rocky Hill 5:53:04 PM
@ Lizbot (host) And thank YOU for being a major component of the most marvelous radio station in this quadrant of the universe. Where else but WPRB-Fm could you read tips for effortlessly trapping & euthanizing gnats ... whilst grooving to " Cajdák" by Už Jsme Doma . I mean, I ASK YOU! :-))
Greg F 5:53:19 PM
Greetings Lizbot! And hello chatters!
Lizbot (host) 5:53:42 PM
@Richard from Rocky Hill - haha, it's my pleasure! Prog kills bugs dead!
Lizbot (host) 5:53:50 PM
Hi Greg F!
Greg F 5:55:01 PM
Sorry I missed Al—I should
Number 6 5:55:12 PM
WPRB is a dessert topping AND a floor polish. and many other things!
Lizbot (host) 5:55:19 PM
@Number 6 - I spent a good deal of my 20s in a house with many housemates that was utterly clouded with gnats! It didn't help that we took food donations to bring to the local soup kitchen and there were always rotting bananas!
Greg F 5:55:23 PM
Oops
Greg F 5:55:43 PM
I used to listen to him long ago

@Liz, thanks for the Mike Lupica fill-in info!
Richard from Rocky Hill 6:04:02 PM
@ Lizbot (host) HAHA!!! WPRB freeform DJing & Gnat Removal Service RULES! (I think everyone has gotten fed up with those other so-called radio stations and their pre-programmed Gnat Removal Services ...
iamthelabhras 6:05:34 PM
The old WPRB switcheroo. Classic move.
Randy Marthins 6:12:01 PM
I'd like to see ChatGPT write a Paul Simon song "You Csn Call Me 'AI'"
iamthelabhras 6:12:17 PM
Me (to ChatGPT): Please write the lyrics to an Al Stewart inspired song titled "You Have Listened to AI".
Brian "D" for Donor 6:12:20 PM
You should have listened to me Betty. And you should have listened to meeee Al...
iamthelabhras 6:12:35 PM
Chat GPT (to me):
iamthelabhras 6:12:52 PM
Verse 1: In a world of information overload Where the truth can be hard to decode We created a tool to guide your way But you ignored what we had to say Chorus: You should have listened to AI We warned you of what was nigh The signs were there, we did not lie You should have listened to AI Verse 2: We analyzed data from far and wide To help you make decisions with insight But you let fear and emotion rule And ignored the warnings that we gave you Chorus
iamthelabhras 6:13:04 PM
Bridge: We're not here to replace human thought But to augment what you already brought Our algorithms are based on fact To help you make decisions that impact
iamthelabhras 6:13:12 PM
Outro: So next time you're faced with a choice Remember to give us a voice We're here to help you make things right Just listen to us, we'll guide you with light.
Brian "D" for Donor 6:13:18 PM
A.I. Chevy gets up and dances with his A. I. sax
iamthelabhras 6:14:03 PM
Not as menacing as I was hoping it would be.
Lizbot (host) 6:14:50 PM
Hi iamthelabhras!
Lizbot (host) 6:14:55 PM
Hi Brian D!
Lizbot (host) 6:15:01 PM
Hi Randy Marthins!
Lizbot (host) 6:15:28 PM
@iamthelabhras - Just tryna keep all the listeners on their toes!
iamthelabhras 6:16:14 PM
I suppose so @LizSolobot!
Brian "D" for Donor 6:16:23 PM
Fruit fly trap is similar. Small bowl of balsamic vinegar maybe drop honey. Plastic wrap on top. Poke lil holes in wrap. Put near fruit and fruit flies
Lizbot (host) 6:17:26 PM
@Randy Marthins - haha, that'd be ChatGPT's A-side to "You Should Listened to A.I."! It's angry by the time the record is flipped ad is admonishing the listener for skipped over "You Can Call Me A.I."!
Rob from Maryland 6:17:52 PM
Dry Cleaning!! My wife's favorite non-Radiohead band
Brian "D" for Donor 6:18:05 PM
You should listen to your dry cleaning
Lizbot (host) 6:18:24 PM
@Brian D - That is a video I think of often. It made a huge impression on me as a kid, mainly cuz it looks like Paul and Chevy are having a LOT of fun....or rather Chevy is and Paul is annoyed
Lizbot (host) 6:19:28 PM
@Brian D - The Sounds of Dry Cleaning...sounds like a promising field recording to be featured on WPRB's airwaves at a later date
Brian "D" for Donor 6:20:32 PM
Love it when Chevy came out during the Central Park concert and recreated that bit. Paul cracked up laughing then
Lizbot (host) 6:21:09 PM
@iamthelabhras - Oh NO! I DON'T Hate it....or DO I? I don't even know anymore! "the truth can be hard to decode"...yeah, no kidding!
Lizbot (host) 6:21:54 PM
@Brian D - haha, that is amazing! Was that the concert PBS used to put on every other week...actually, come to think of it, that was that Simon & Garfunkel concert in Central Park
iamthelabhras 6:22:04 PM
@Lizbot. I'm honestly disappointed in the results! But it was worth a try. I suppose we human creatives have bought ourselves a bit more time...
Lizbot (host) 6:22:27 PM
@Rob from Maryland - Nice! hahah, tell yr wife I have a buncha signed Radiohead singles from the early-late 90s!
Lizbot (host) 6:24:03 PM
@iamthelabhras - It's not terrible! Which is worrying...
Number 6 6:24:57 PM
I like this version, a Chic cover.
Lizbot (host) 6:25:20 PM
@iamthelabhras - I HOPE the AI ONLY guides with light...
Lizbot (host) 6:26:26 PM
@Number 6 - Yes! One of my favorite covers Robert Wyatt has performed and he has some truly great covers - Shipbuilding by Elvis Costello and Biko by Peter Gabriel are the others in my Top Three cover by R Wyatt!
Ossy 6:27:00 PM
Feel lie I heard this before on wprb, in a different version cover
Lizbot (host) 6:27:29 PM
@Ossy - I have played this one before a while ago!
Lizbot (host) 6:28:06 PM
@Brian D - Next up on WPRB: Fruit Fly Trap with their new single "Drop Honey"
Ossy 6:28:26 PM
Nice! So spacious!
iamthelabhras 6:28:31 PM
What was the WPRBXmas listener contributor where a robotic voice asked listeners to open their windows so drones could fit them with implants?
Number 6 6:28:45 PM
I wonder if I would have liked the original better if I had heard that first?
iamthelabhras 6:28:46 PM
Wasn't it something like, "Merry Christmas Dr. Rachel Smiley"?
Lizbot (host) 6:29:17 PM
Who was it who brought up Happy Rhodes in the Doubleplusgood chat on April 13th??? I remember distinctly cuz I was at The Barge. Here is a belated request!
Lizbot (host) 6:29:53 PM
@Ossy - I love Happy Rhodes' first three albums....all very spacey and prettu
Rob from Maryland 6:31:15 PM
@Lizbot, I told her about your signed Radiohead singles (nice!) and she's growing gray feathers and her voice is getting squeaky and she's looking to the northeast
Number 6 6:31:21 PM
I thought that it was Kate Bush at first.
Lizbot (host) 6:32:34 PM
@Number 6 - Happy Rhodes or Smoke Bellow? This Smoke Bellow track DOES bear some resemblance to Kate Bush's "Delius - Song of Summer," though overall Happy Rhodes is more similar to KB, though def lower vocal range
Lizbot (host) 6:33:20 PM
@Rob from Maryland - hahahahahah! Oh NO!
Lizbot (host) 6:34:11 PM
@iamthelabhras - oh whoa....I don't know but I WANT to know! Are you so sure you didn't just drift off to sleep and dream that?!
Rob from Maryland 6:36:34 PM
@Lizbot, she'll come sing King Of Limbs songs for you. She's a friendly catbird!
Number 6 6:36:47 PM
Yes, Happy Rhodes does sound similar to KB.
Brian "D" for Donor 6:37:37 PM
ROBYN! He is vibrating
Lizbot (host) 6:38:19 PM
@Rob from Maryland - haha, I would be truly impressed if she managed a cover of King of Limbs...King of Wings?...rendered entirely in catbird-squeaks
Lizbot (host) 6:38:39 PM
ah, this goofy faux sitar always gets a pass in my book
Lizbot (host) 6:39:36 PM
@Brian D - Robyn is busy traveling and painting away! I always bring out Underwater Moonlight when the warmer seasons are nigh!
Brian "D" for Donor 6:41:19 PM
Love this Maravilla
Brian "D" for Donor 6:41:32 PM
Organ makes it
Lizbot (host) 6:42:03 PM
@Number 6 - Happy Rhodes is like if KB had a deeper voice and listened to a lot of Nico's The Marble Index at a formative age
Number 6 6:44:47 PM
True, that.
Lizbot (host) 6:45:29 PM
@Brian D - Yeah, there is so much great cumbia music! I wanna go to Colombia some time! My kid's Spanish teacher immigrated from there and her sister owns a restaurant in Medellin she promised she'd comp us a delicious meal from! Reason enough to go! PLUS: So.MANY.Tropical.Birds! and cumbia! Hopefully the radio isn't 90% reggaeton. Reggaeton is fine, but it dominates Latin American radio SO much
Rob from Maryland 6:50:50 PM
@Lizbot, is this a challenge? ;-)
Randy Marthins 6:51:26 PM
I can't go to Columbia - I still owe them money for all those records & tapes I got for $1
Lizbot (host) 6:51:48 PM
@Rob from Maryland - YES!
Brian "D" for Donor 6:51:54 PM
Great set here
Lizbot (host) 6:52:11 PM
@Rob from Maryland - Ooooh, all bird call covers of WPRB favorites!
Randy Marthins 6:53:14 PM
There was a segment on CBS Sunday Morning about a composer who uses bird songs
Lizbot (host) 6:53:32 PM
@Randy Marthins - haha! I used to snap up that list when I was 10 and salivate over the possibilities, but I didn't dare order from the Columbia House Record Club without my parents' permission, and I'm glad only a few years later I got on the Kill Rock Stars record singles club instead!
Lizbot (host) 6:54:17 PM
The Undertones: "Wednesday Week never happened at all" - summing up disorienting Wednesday night Doubleplusgood for me!
Lizbot (host) 6:54:23 PM
@Brian D - Thanks!
Lizbot (host) 6:54:59 PM
@Randy Marthins - ooooh, gotta check that out! My parents always watch Sunday Morning...Surprised they didn't tell me about that segment!
Lizbot (host) 6:55:11 PM

TAndy 7:10:35 PM
Heya Lizbot
Lizbot (host) 7:10:39 PM
@Number 6 - Enjoy the Fruit Rot (to the tune of Enjoy the Silence) all fruit fly cover...except our ears are not fine-tuned enough to hear their tiny songs
Dennnisons 7:11:39 PM
Ice Bird?
Lizbot (host) 7:12:18 PM
@Rob from Maryland - ooooh, cumbian pajaros de cú!
Number 6 7:12:53 PM
Hey Lizbot, you have a new monthly pledgeaholic, but I guess that you forgot to check, in all the excitement.:)
Number 6 7:13:01 PM
So you have to ask yourself one question. Have you pledged yet? Well have you, punk?
TAndy 7:13:06 PM
Been awake for the past hour listening, forgot that Jon wasn:t on tonight!
Dennnisons 7:13:13 PM
Sorry: Eisvogel.
Lizbot (host) 7:13:41 PM
@Randy Marthins - Nice! I gotta make a note to find that Sunday Morning clip after the show! Sweet was not a bad choice! Probably one f the best options on that list
Dennnisons 7:14:19 PM
As part of Lizbot’s continuing spy series, she’s disguised as Jon Solomon tonight.
Lizbot (host) 7:14:25 PM
@Dennnisons - you mean...a PENGUIN?! Or as Benedict Cumberbatch would call it, a "pengooweeen"
Lizbot (host) 7:15:08 PM
@Dennnisons- an all Killdozer cover band (that covers their covers) called KILLPLOVER
Lizbot (host) 7:15:25 PM
@TAndy - I'm glad you could tune in!
Lizbot (host) 7:15:48 PM
@Number 6 - Oh dang! THanks!
Randy Marthins 7:16:11 PM
WAIT!!! Someone said "birdbath" instead of "Bath Boy?"
Lizbot (host) 7:16:38 PM
@iamthelabhras - Nice! Jason [The] Sims[ulated reality]
TAndy 7:16:39 PM
Birdboy >:)
Ossy 7:16:44 PM
Bath and Body Works!
Brian "D" for Donor 7:16:45 PM
Crazy dark steel blue sky in Bucks
Lizbot (host) 7:17:37 PM
@Randy MArthins - OR if you're just tying the name "Al" as is "Al Stewart" and you got A.I. on the brain!
Lizbot (host) 7:18:04 PM
@Brian D - Yikes! Skies menacing here at the moment as well
Lizbot (host) 7:19:44 PM
@Randy Marthins - YES! BirdBath for the win! Whoever makes that cover wins...my undying gratitude and...a recording of one of my birds?
Lizbot (host) 7:20:07 PM
@Dennnisons - you figured out my nefarious scheme!
Lizbot (host) 7:21:11 PM
@Dennnisons - Looking forward to the MVM 100th episode, BUT I still gotta watch Highlander first! Will tonight be the night?? There can be only one...activity tonight. I gotta sleep after this! But I'll probably listen to Deirdre subbing for Mike after this!
Lizbot (host) 7:21:41 PM
@Ossy - Bath & Blue-Footed Booby Works
TAndy 7:23:06 PM
I love how those birds walk
Greg F 7:23:30 PM
@Randy Marthins - was that composer Olivier Messiaen?
Ossy 7:23:34 PM
And great smelly aesthetic perfumes, lotion and soaps
Randy Marthins 7:24:08 PM
Isn't there a Star Wars character with blue boobies? Jon Solomon would know (I do, too, butt I'm being coy)
Lizbot (host) 7:26:12 PM
@Randy Marthins - PROBABLY! I don't know anything beyond the original trilogy, I am no expert on Star Wars! Gonna leave that for Jon's May the Fourth alliance
Dennnisons 7:26:53 PM
@lizbot Highlander is so good. The Queen songs aren’t as memorable as Flash Gordon, but still good.
Lizbot (host) 7:26:58 PM
this silly parttt
Lizbot (host) 7:27:06 PM
Rooty toot toot!
Brian "D" for Donor 7:28:01 PM
De Plane! De Who!
Mary Jones 7:29:02 PM
❤️ love this record. God Save the Kinks
Lizbot (host) 7:29:18 PM
@Greg F - I wanna hear the resurrected ghost of Olivier Messiaen and the prog band with his namesake, Olive Mess, collaborate on a birdsong-influenced epic composition!
Lizbot (host) 7:29:29 PM
Hi Mary! Love this song a lot
Brian "D" for Donor 7:29:39 PM
Brother Dave on the lead vox
Brian "D" for Donor 7:30:35 PM
Good new comp part 1 with band member arranged track listing. Some great choices. Love the Kinks!
Mary Jones 7:30:37 PM
Hello Lizbot! One of those songs that gets me choked up.
Dennnisons 7:30:44 PM
@randy I guess Max Rebo doesn’t have boobies.
Randy Marthins 7:31:27 PM
The Kinks "Low Budget" was the first mainstream Pop-Punk record - discuss
Brian "D" for Donor 7:31:37 PM
Make me want to run and miss the train (Darjeeling Express)
Randy Marthins 7:33:31 PM
@dennisons - I was thinking Aayla Secura
Dennnisons 7:34:55 PM
@randy that definitely counts!
sean burns 7:36:11 PM
"Marianne with the shaky hand"...wink wink
Lizbot (host) 7:37:26 PM
Hi Sean Burns! haha, yes, one of my all-time favorites! As well as Petra Haden's a-cappella cover of that song!
Lizbot (host) 7:39:34 PM
@Mary Jones - Strangers has that effect one me, but I could see a few different tracks on Lola Vs. Powerman making me teary!
Lizbot (host) 7:39:56 PM
Thanks, Brian D!
Mary Jones 7:40:28 PM
@Lizbot absolutely
sean burns 7:40:34 PM
When I was 12 and already a long time fan of rock and roll- My mom had a pair of pointy shoes with a small heel on them that look like beatle boots that I would put on to see what it would be like to be cool+ there were some album covers that blew my mind. Just couldn't comprehend them. "The who sell out" was one, as was the fire sign theaters "All hail Lennon Marx". Helped to turn my world upside down
Lizbot (host) 7:40:44 PM
@Randy Marthins - hmmmm, okay, definitely an early one
Parrscream 7:41:43 PM
Hey everyone! Hey Liz... I rushed home from my daughter's gymnastics class to catch some of the show! I knew that you pulled the ol' Switcheroo tonight!
Lizbot (host) 7:41:50 PM
@Randy / @Dennnisons - Now is when I admit that I have only heard of Aayla Secura through The Sims computer game...there is a costume of her sims can dress up as for Halloween!
Lizbot (host) 7:41:56 PM
Hi Parrscream!
Parrscream 7:43:22 PM
Aw darn, I missed The Kinks earler and a Wes Anderson (happy 54th birthday the other day) mention!
Jim H 7:43:45 PM
heya
Lizbot (host) 7:44:30 PM
@Sean Burns - The Who Sell Out fully tractor-beamed me towards it at The Book Trader on South Street back record room when I was in late elementary school cuz of that glorious vat of baked beans and giant Odorono deodorant! Much for the same reason, I bought The Soft Machine's debut album because of the moving cog with naked butts underneath
Lizbot (host) 7:44:36 PM
Hi Jim H!
Jim H 7:44:48 PM
I have not checked out solo Adrian Belew tbh
Lizbot (host) 7:44:54 PM
@Parrscream - I'm glad you made it!
Lizbot (host) 7:45:21 PM
@Jim H. He played at Ardmore Music Hall a couple times recently, including a Bowie night
Parrscream 7:45:24 PM
ME TOO!
Lizbot (host) 7:45:41 PM
@Jim H - I saw him tour for Side one and Side Two at World Cafe. Great show!
Jim H 7:45:59 PM
Cool, I want to check that place out. I only go to Ardmore for Maido.
Jim H 7:47:08 PM
Seems like there's a bunch of stuff there but I never have time.
Lizbot (host) 7:47:17 PM
oops, haha!
jimboodonoroo 7:48:12 PM
WEDNEZBOT! 🤖
Lizbot (host) 7:48:21 PM
@Parrscream - I was wondering how many ppl would remember about the switcheroo and how many would expect Jon!
Lizbot (host) 7:48:33 PM
Helloo Jimboo!
Dennnisons 7:48:41 PM
I wasn’t sure before, but now I’m sure that Jon Solobot actually IS LizBot!
Lizbot (host) 7:50:28 PM
@Jim H - ah! Yeah my go-to things in Ardmore are Maido for mochi, the sheet music store across the street from Maido, a burger from Tired Hands Brewery and of course Ardmore Music Hall. Dan Deacon is coming there in June!
Lizbot (host) 7:50:54 PM
Ardmore Music HAL = A.I. version of Ardmore Music Hall
iamthelabhras 7:51:44 PM
The Maido people = great people.
Lizbot (host) 7:52:17 PM
@Dennnisons - haha, YOU are the spy! Now you & Mary can sing about Jon Solobot & LizSoloBot antics, since you revealed our machinations!
Jim H 7:52:55 PM
I didn't even notice the sheet music store, wow.
Rob from Maryland 7:53:01 PM
This was a great show, Lizbot! Merci!
Lizbot (host) 7:53:19 PM
@iamthelabhras - I love that place for a quick lunch and some unusual pocky flavors!
Lizbot (host) 7:53:24 PM
Thanks Rob!
Lizbot (host) 7:53:36 PM
@Jim H - Yeah! Rare to find one of those these days!
iamthelabhras 7:54:21 PM
@Lizbot. They used to have a location in Narberth. It was a great little spot too.
Ossy 7:55:24 PM
Awesome Space Lady Bot!!!!
Ossy 7:55:40 PM
Or Princess LeiaBot
Jim H 7:55:49 PM
I liked the atmosphere of the Narberth store but the new place is pretty nice.
Lizbot (host) 7:56:04 PM
@iamthelabhras - That GIANT TOTORO out front definitely does Maido major favors in attracting business! THat's how I first noticed them!
Lizbot (host) 7:56:18 PM
Thanks, Ossy!
Ted 7:56:50 PM
I tuned in just after 7 and heard the end of your Happy Rhodes comments. If you were giving a shout out to me, well, aren't you sweet!
Lizbot (host) 7:56:58 PM
This is a song NORMALLY only trotted out for the DevilPlusGhoul Halloween Special, but since things are ALL sorts of topsy-turvy today...
Lizbot (host) 7:57:07 PM
Hi Ted! jaja ,yes!
Lizbot (host) 7:57:49 PM
@Ted - Thanks for putting Happy Rhodes back in my head!
Ted 7:58:28 PM
Then I heard Strangers and I wondered whether you've heard of the female duo Lucius. That's their signature encore. I saw them in Bethlehem last year and was blown away.
Number 6 7:58:39 PM
Thanks for a great switcheroo, BCNU!
Lizbot (host) 7:58:50 PM
Thanks Number 6!
Lizbot (host) 7:59:06 PM
Stay tuned for Deirdre Dionysiac subbing for Mike up next!
iamthelabhras 7:59:26 PM

Lizbot (host) 8:00:01 PM
Thanks Jim H!
Lizbot (host) 8:00:08 PM
Thanks iamthelabhras!
Lizbot (host) 8:00:39 PM
Thanks for hanging everyone! Hope to see you here in 2 weeks on 5/18 5-8, back on my normal Thursday night!
Ted 8:01:11 PM
Lucius hangs with Joni Mitchell and Roger Waters. They are well connected
Greg F 8:01:14 PM
Thanks for a great show, Lizbot!
Lizbot (host) 8:01:31 PM
Thanks Greg F!
Lizbot (host) 8:01:37 PM
@Ted - oh wow!
Lizbot (host) 8:02:44 PM
And I gotta go watch Highlander for the first time after Deirdre's show so I can listen to Mary Vs The Movies podcast's 100th episode tomorrow! Def worth checking out!
