Maybe the last drive show from my home studio THE FACTORY OF HOPE because thanks we are on the brink in the power of freeform, human-curated broadcast radio to support independent music and keep exposing people to things that they never would have known they would like (and that an algorithm would never know to play for them). Being live, human, connected, and available randomly to anyone with a radio receiver makes radio special in a way that is hard to articulate. Being part of WPRB has been so important to me personally, and I am so proud to be able to contribute to it. So if you like me, the show, the station, the general concept of this kind of radio, please contribute!

It was such a brilliant concept! I only attended one because it ended very shortly after I turned 21

@Dana K - went to EBTT at KFN. Herbie Shellenberger helped organize that night. He’s in the UK now

I remember Herbie. I hung out with him once when I lived in Scotland and he came up from London, but we never crossed paths in Philly.

And speaking of England Belongs to Twee, and Herbie who worked at I-House, I miss the I-House/ORIGINAL Lightbox film center SO MUCH! Loved that crazy brutalist box of a building and so many great shows there. Herbie showed the Dolly Mixture doc there for an EBTT event!

Fun Fact: My parents’ wedding reception was at I-House the year it was completed, 1970.

I DJ'd a lone EBTT and had a great time. Think it was right after a Kurt Vile record release at Kung Fun Necktie. Was very careful to only play music that fit the theme / timeframe but then Herbie spun some ODB towards the end of the night and everyone went crazy. "I didn't know you could do that!" I said to him in fake frustration.

Yoni actually lived at the I-House when he first moved to Philly (he’s a fake punk because he’s not listening)
