Greetings, salutations, and good day to all. I'll be drifting off to sleep soon, but will be keeping it locked on my bedside radio.

@ Isadora (host) Another great playlist this morning, thanks. I really liked "Get the Funk Out Ma Face" by the Brothers Johnson. Not only musically but due to its creative use of "Funk" as a airwaves-playable substitute for the (in)famous F-word. It reminded me that the disco hit "Le Freak" by Chic was supposedly inspired by nasty dance club front-door security guys who'd snarl "[F-word] off!" at you if they didn't want to let you in behind the velvet rope. ;-))
Richard from Rocky Hill 11:35:26 AM
That is, the refrain exclamation "Freak out!" subbed for "F*** off!"
Isadora (host) 11:44:38 AM
Thanks Richard! I'm so glad. Ha
Richard from Rocky Hill 11:48:32 AM
@ Isadora (host) And I've also gotta thank you for this play, "Eye Know" by De La Soul. Not only featuring Otis Redding's whistling from "Dock of the Bay" but a generous sampling of "Peg" by Steely Dan. Now, THAT is some kind of monumental melding of music greats ...
Richard from Rocky Hill 11:49:10 AM
Okay, back to work and back to my Chat lurk ... :-))
Isadora (host) 11:59:01 AM
You're welcome!
