Some great new stuff i saw out there: Arooj Aftab, Vijay Iyer, Shahzad Ismaily –" Love in Exile"; Various: South African Jazz, Funk & Soul 1975-1982; Angell Bat Dawid ; Pharoah Sanders; Piller Mod compilation, Kinks 60th anthology vol 1, Lee H & Nancy S reissue... many other comps & reissues...

Played the Angel last week. Still haven't heard the Arooj, Vijay record...

And what's up with the Lage being 26 minutes long and full-price! They even list the last song as a "bonus" for some reason. Anyway, love what's there...

So happy to find this Gabor Szabo in Sweden set, with two of his best '70s sessions included.

Uh-oh. The Long Play website lists the saxophonist for the Very Very reunion as Yosvany Terry. I hope Threadgill is ok.

He IS 79. I thought he had played recently...

Ulmer and Sharrock in the same show, I DO lump them together in my mind....
